The Christian Bible was writen as a lesson in morals; history has shown it was taken in absolute literal context and turned in to a religion;

"Fruit", from the garden of Eden was representitive and was of course intended to be a teaching aid for those who lacked the ability to read Any language. The lesson was a good aid to a moral encounter with choices ; soon others began to write and write and the text was put together and placed into a "Bible".

The concept of "Good and "Evil" has it's origins with man; as does the concepts of "God".

An act upon another that causes injury is an act upon oneself.

The system of "payback" is absolute in the sense tht whatever one does harmful will come back at them in another life or relm. Call it Karma if you will. Any pain you place upon another you will get that back and may experience it yourself, not for "punishment" but for the lessons it teaches.

An instance of Karmic payback can be seen in the Movie Tombstone; the part where someone smacks the horse around while getting it off the train;' Kurt Russel (Wyatt Earp) smacks the guy in the face with the whip proclaiming "hurts, don't it"...it's that way all around.

NEITHER APPLE NOR PROCREATION =============================== the concept they ate apple comes from some Hollywood video clips. And the concept the fruit has to do with sex has no which potential, because God had already informed them to "strengthen and multiply and fill the earth". Adam has seen his author, and he has seen the animals being created! Gen 2:18-20. And he replaced into component of the introduction of Eve. Now author tells Adam no longer to do something so straightforward as no longer eating a fruit! And he is going ahead and eats (for even with reason). He replaced into informed about the outcome also: he received't be there. He is acquainted with what it potential to be "no longer there", because he's acquainted with that formerly the animals or Eve were created they were "no longer there". "sturdy" IS TO BE IN backyard EVIL IS outdoors OF IT =============================== Adam replaced into no longer created in Eden, he replaced into created outdoors and replaced into presented interior into the bliss of Eden (Gen 2:7-9). He is acquainted with the state outdoors Eden. And after sinning he replaced into deliver decrease back to till a similar land. Gen 3:23. even with the actuality that the narrative is short, we won't be able to anticipate that they'd no expertise in any respect! would the Lord forgive any blunders in those words and upload his advantages.

The Apple didn't give humanity nothing but fruit. But the Tree of the Knowledge of both good and evil was an scapegoat so to speak. It was the disobedience of Adam and eve that brought forth the sin and Satan and sin entered into them cursing them and this world with wickedness, sickness and both physical and spiritual death until God would send forth his Son Jesus to die for the sin of humanity redeeming us from it's curse and bringing us back into the loving divine fellowship of both the Father and the Son now and forever. This Book you talk about reveils this truth that now we can become not only sons and daughters of the Almighty God but heirs and kings of His coming Kingdom and to those whio reject this book who suffer gtreat lost and will remain still in their sins and under the curse to be judged with Satan to be separated from God forever and the other Tree which is the Tree of LIFE which is Jesus Christ Himself..

Actually there was no Adam and Eve! We can prove that scientificly!

Besides that the word Apple is not in Genesis! That is a silly idea planted in the minds of Children because the Church didn't want to tell these kids that is was a sin the learn! After all that would raise questions of why should I go to school if knowledge was the original sin?

It is all about control! Religious control!

Weeeellll - first off..

It wasn't an apple, second, Christians are supposed to be led by their relationship with Christ, not a set of rules from the book. We refer to the Bible for guidance, etc., but it's not so cut and dried as you suppose. Third, they were given knowlege of good and evil by doing one evil act. By this, they began a downward spiral into more and more heinous acts, but they did NOT instantaneously gain all knowlege. Lastly, why not spare yourself the pain of having to learn from experience? Why not follow what the scripture says for yourself and see how you benefit?

Well no one is sure it might have it might not have.U are right many cant really know what is good and what is evil.Every nation has its own set of rules. But bible is GOD holy word. His word is the path to know what is good and evil from his point of view not from our point of view. What seems good on earth isnt good at all in heaven. What seems bad on earth might be good in heaven. So u need to learn good and evil from GOD point of view.

But there is something good GOD wants not only u but every human to know. That we though we showed our backs to him.He still loves u as much as he sent his only son to die for our sins so we can be reconciled back to him.Now we understand everything in part but then once we go to heaven we will understand in full.

"For GOD so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoso ever believeth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life".Ask JESUS to come into your heart and forgive ur sins and cleanse ur past with his blood.

Wasn't an apple! It only says the fruit of the tree!

We need the Bible you are referring to because apart from God we have mans "wisdumb" which is carnal and fleshy and worldly and of no good to anyone. With God we have true "wisdom" which is spiritual in nature and helps us live our earthly life as we should. As a matter of fact it was this wisdom that taught me that it was not an apple.

It created the concept and awareness of good and evil and brought into existence the path of evil. The "book" is for the purpose of guiding people on the right path so they don't follow the wrong one (evil).

The Bible only mentioned it was a fruit - it was never specific enough to say it was an apple.

We don't have to have the Bible to be saved, although the Bible is the Word of God. But the Word of God stands on its own apart from the book.

We know good and evil because it is written on our hearts.

I am a Catholic.

The Church has always taught that baptism and peserverence in the faith (being in a state of grace) saves us.
