whoa! you shouldn't ask other people for a quote about life that you want tattooed on your body! It needs to be a quote that means something to you.

Tattoos are very personal, and are with you for life. I don't know what you do for a living, but consider very seriously the placement of your tattoo. You might want to rethink it and go for someplace that you can cover up if need be. You may also have a change of heart as far as your belief system, so quoting or any types of wording for that matter might not suit you later in life.

Take a few months to think about it before you take the big step. Think about your lifestyle and the things that have meaning for you. Use this as a spring board to decide what you will get.

The Following are quotes by Confucious:

Real knowledge is to know the extent of ones ignorance.

It is better to light one small candle than to curse the darkness.

Worry not that no one knows of you; seek to be worth knowing

If you look into your own heart, and you find nothing wrong there, what is there to worry about?

It does not matter how slowly you go, so long as you do not stop.

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

Better a diamond with a flaw than a pebble without.

Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated

Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.

Everything has beauty but not everyone sees it.

Actually, it depends on the thing(s) that gives you joy. So I suggest that you should write about something you have as your belief or something you cherish. It might be better not to get a tattoo at all because someday, you might want to change what you wrote.

Life is just a chance to grow a soul.
Because I have loved life, I shall have no sorrow to die.
If we could see the miracle of a single flower clearly, our whole life would change. - buddha
love is life. And if you miss love, you miss life.
we are the hero of our own story

or you could have a lyrics of one of your favourite songs - that would be nice!
please don't do anything funny! It will be like hearing a joke you liked at first but then someone told you like a billion times! x

I kinda waffle back and forth on this one. I for one am not a big fan of script. Initials I get. Names of loved ones/pets/the deceased again I get. But your own name.....I don't get that one so much. My initial reaction is ......"are you so dumb you can't remember your own name?" Okkkkk that wasn't fair. Your name across your back would be handy if you got amnesia. ( but it eliminates all chances of you streaking across your local college campus). My other problem with script (like poetry or song lyrics).....I'm a complusive reader. So when I see someone walking toward me in the park with this long scripted writing on their calf (or arm).....It's takes all I have not to stop them and read their script......and then of course its something sappy (that they obviously think is profound) ......and I have to choose between pointing and laughing or pointing behind them and running when they turn to look.
But.....as long as I don't have to wear it....I'm fine with it. Tattoos are like anything else....We don't all drive the same make and model automobile (and it would be a boring world if we did). You live with your ink and I'll live with mine......

Hey!! There's a quote for you "You wear your ink and I'll wear mine"

Tasha, Hi I am guessing that you are very young. Take into consideration that you won't be the same person in 10 years and this maybe something you regret. Once we get married and have children our ideas and values change. We tend took look at life differently. The rose colored glasses are a little clearer, Maybe you could needlepoint a beautiful quote and have it matted and framed. Think very hard about what you put into and on your body always. Tatoos are a Fad.
