Everyone loves a winner. No one likes a consistent winner. A very young consistent winner at that. People watch a race to see a winner, but they feel ripped off if everytime they go to a race Jeff Gordon ends up winning. This is like paying for a movie ticket to see the very same ending as the last time you went to see a movie. It gets boring after awhile.
I'm not here to hate, but can give you an explanation why you think Gordon haters are so prissy, because that's how YOU view a non Gordon fan.

You should change the word to pissy actually. All the Jeff Gordon/Hendrick Motorsports haters get all hurt because they win all the time. Get over it, it's called racing and the best cars win every race. Do you think that Jeff Gordon is going to pull over and say, "go ahead Junior, you haven't won yet."? No, he isn't, NASCAR racing is competitive and you have a bad car, you are not going to win. Throwing beer cans at Jeff Gordon when he wins a race isn't go stop him from winning either. It is just going to inspire him to win more races. It doesn't make Jeff look like an ****, it makes the fans throwing the cans look like an **** and the driver who the beer can throwers pull for. What Jeff did last week was classy and it showed a lot of respect for the man in black.

It's funny how people scream THEY HATE HIM BECAUSE THEY ARE JEALOUS.....but those same people are the ones who hate on other drivers simply because they do good. I don't care much for Jeff Gordon. I use to dislike him the most out of any driver, and it had nothing to do with him winnings. Obviously he has some skill, it takes skill just to be out there and stay in the race, much less do good: but the reason I disliked him was based on I didn't like his personality, or his dirty driving. I didn't like his cocky attitude, he seemed to think he was better than everyone else and he had a habit of doing things to other ppl, but if they did it to him he was mad about it. I think after being on top then going thru some slumps the past few years, he's come to realize that the team is what makes a race team, not 1 person, and that he's not better than everybody else like he acted so often, i still don't like him very much, but i must admit i have noticed a little bit of change in his attitude, and thats good.

I dont know I like Gordon and I'm not prissy. I seen Jeff when he was just a kid over at IRP running Midgets. He's got a real talent. People are just jealous because he grew up in Indiana he has really took to the good ol' boys. Complain all you want DW, Gordons here to stay. And speaking of wrecking somebody, I've seen the black #3 do plenty of damage.

None are that I know of. Jeff himself is kinda prissy, but I respect him as a driver and calling the guy fans who "hate" him a name is not going to make them understand Jeff Gordon is a very talented driver who lost his way when he let Jimmie Johnson win at martinsville.

I am not sure. This is one of the craziest things in NASCAR. There have been a lot of drivers that fans don't like, but none have had such a love/hate effect like Jeff Gordon.
I think when he won so many races in the 90's, people got sick of him, so now he can do no right.
Jeff holding the 3 flag was an awesome tribute, and they still booed him. It was embarrassing for the sport.

No clue. They could be jealous of all his success, money, and gorgeous wife and ex wife that he has. Then again it's just some people's way to fit it or just to od it wihtout a reason because it might be cool. Who knows and who cares. We can't change them just beat them at their own game and root for Jeff Gordon for everything just like I do 24/7, since I am a huge fan!!!!

Heres the deal. Gordon came into the sport when most of the drivers were, lets say, good old boys. He won races and beat the,GOOD OLD BOYS, at their own game. Therefore, the nascar southern fans got upset that someone young and who didn't have that southern draw, would dare come into the sport and and beat the best they had at the time.

Jeff Gordon haters aren't the prissy ones. People like me don't like him because he's the ones that prissy and a whinny baby.
I started out giving him the benefit of the dought. He's a very good driver, nobody argues that. But, he'll bump another car to move them out of the way, even wreck them along with several other cars sohe can pass them. But let someone even slightly tag him and he's all upset, cry'n and complaining. That's why he's boo'd.
There's your answer.
