My cat is ready to pop any minute now!! but I want to know a couple things to look for that indicates labor - besides nesting. In particular pooping?? I've heard they do A LOT of this prior to giving birth but not sure if it's true (Gabbie has been doing this) I've had litters of kittens before when I was young but I've never done this on my own. This is my mom's cat who ran away about 5 months ago and returned very very pregnant. I have taken her under because my mom's new b/f's dog will kill it if he saw it. Any information will be appreciated!

*and yes thanks for the spay concern no need to mention it she will be spayed after her kitties are ready.

** This is not her first litter

From a site about pregnant cats:
There are a number of signs to let you know when your queen is about to give birth.
> Nesting
> Decreased activity
> Milk discharge from the nipples
> Restlessness
> Calling as if in heat
> Licking of the vaginal area
