I wish I had more time to explain this, but it means that do your best but do not worry over things, God will take care of you. He will provide what you need. : )

The Bible says that God will provide each need. However, in a materialistic culture the lines are easily blurred from needs to wants.
I don't believe God said,"I will give you everything to establish your comfort levels." "Peace and security for all your days." Jesus taught us to pray for our daily bread, and not to worry about food, clothes, and shelter.

I think the needs that God provides are necessities to move you forward in your pursuit of God and holiness and to help you fulfill your responsibilities as husband, wife, friend, citizen, employee, etc.

God can provide jobs, promote, but the pursuit is God and not a great job or a promotion. I cut my salary in half to go to seminary and my family and I are stronger and having more fun because of it.

I don't think people can just be lazy and expect God to spoon feed them when the Bible is clear about the "sluggard" and "if a man won't work don't let him eat" type verses.

Christ was humanity linked to divinity. We must do all that we can, and God will make up the rest. Time is very short and the day of the Lord is approaching as a thief in the night, and yet the world is lieing in wickedness. God will provide everything that is needed for us to reach Heaven, it is up to us to choose to take what He gives and do what He tells us with it. While the angel of mercy is still holding back the winds of strife, before the "time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation [even] to that same time" Dan 12:1, we must surrender fully to His will and work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. Will we but waste time walking on Satan's enchanted ground? Will it be too late before we wake up and see the signs of the time? We must plead with God to give us what we need for our salvation.

In the eyes of someone who has a spiritual relationship with God and Jesus Christ takes him at his word to be true.....you can't just take what you want and cast the rest aside.......but when God said he will provide this is true.....but in the scope of the Christian walk according to the Bible....we have our part to uphold as God requires of us.........In our relationship, the christian's heart is one with God's...Therefore we are his Children and He is our provider.......to understand this the Bible must be explored and searched for this particular meaning..........because we as a depraved society choose to interpret the Bible to fit our lives..........There is only one truth (one interpretation) yet many different applications in our daily lives...........God does provide.....

If you put all your faith and trust into the Lord. He will provide you with what you need. God has a specific plan for you. And God will never allow for something to happen you you cannot handle.

Of course God will provide!

God will provide you with all the physical, mental, emotional tools; people; situations; opportunities to better yourself.

What you DO with it, is up to you. But some do not realise they ALREADY have these tools and take advantage of them using their common sense and creativity.

And so they remain in lack because they are expecting some MIRACULOUS gift to suddenly appear in their lap.

Not gonna happen!

When birds are thirsty, God will provide rain. When birds are hungry, God will provide a clumsy eater who drops his sandwich and leaves it behind.

Philippians 4:13 declares, “I can do everything through him who gives me strength.” 2 Peter 1:3-4 reminds us, “His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.”

It means that the means to take care of anything is there, it exists, but we still have to make the effort to recognize it and use it accordingly. It's not just going to be taken care of for us without us doing anything.
