IMPOSSIBLE.

That is why the Trinity is a Tri-Theist belief meaning it is polytheism.

"And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man (JESUS) will be forgiven, but anyone who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven." (Luke 12:10)

I thought I already answered this question...?

Blaspheming against the Holy Spirit is a rejection of the Holy Spirit. In effect, Jesus is saying that if you reject the Holy Spirit, you're rejecting God's free gift of life, since the Holy Spirit communes with us once we accept Jesus as LORD and Savior.

If you blaspheme God, you will be forgiven. If you blaspheme Jesus, you will be forgiven. Even if you blaspheme the Holy Spirit in the way that you are thinking. But if you reject the Holy Spirit, you are rejecting His forgiveness. You are telling God, "No thanks."

And we can't be forgiven for our sins if we tell God that we don't want to be.

Another atheist who only scans the bible then makes what they consider logical conclusions. Nothing could be further from the truth. First off ,what is blaspheming the holy spirit. Did you know there is more than one way. But there is only one blaspheming the holy spirit that is unforgivable. Yes Luke 12:10 shows one way. and it is the only thing you have right so far. The one you REALLY want to read is Mark, chapter 13 verse 11. And this scripture is aimed at god's elect and can only be committed when satan is on earth claiming to be Jesus / God and has just about everybody fooled. To refuse to repeat what is instructed to you by the holy spirit would be unforgivable. Your grade = "F "

“Every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. And whoever says a word against the Son of man will be forgiven; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.” (If the Holy Spirit were a person and were God, this text would flatly contradict the Trinity doctrine, because it would mean that in some way the Holy Spirit was greater than the Son. Instead, what Jesus said shows that the Father, to whom the “Spirit” belonged, is greater than Jesus, the Son of man.)

The reason the Spirit is specifically mentioned in that passage is because it is through the power of the Spirit that one receives the forgiveness of sins.

Each person of the Trinity is a unique person and fulfilled a specific purpose. Therefore a person can specifically deny the power of the Holy Ghost and commit blasphemy.

Think of St. Patrick's analogy of the 3-leaf-clover. You could damage one leaf and it would not physically affect the other 2 leaves. However, by damaging part of the clover you are affecting the clover as a whole.

Blasphemy against the Spirit specifically is directed at the Spirit, but it does offend the Blessed Trinity as a whole.

Hope this helpful to yuo. That's a really good thought question.

Why is this impossible? can you injure your right foot and not
your left. or have a pain in your head but not in your arms?
Can your mind tell you to one thing but your heart tells you something else? Aren't the parts of your body still one body?

Then why can't the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit be parts
of the same body.

Why can your brain tell you that you have pain in one foot
but the other foot doesn't know about it.

So you have to look at the Holy Spirit as the brain of the trinity
this is the one that sends the messages to the other parts of
the body and is the only part of the body capable of
remembering.

Because they are three separate and distinct persons comprising the Godhead (Trinity).

The Holy Spirit is the part of God that is calling you to repentance, he is the part of God that speaks to your heart on behalf of the Father and the Son.

You can say anything you want about the Father, Jesus, angels, or anything else, but deny the Holy Spirit's call and there is no hope left for you.

The Father says, "I want you to spend eternity with Me."

The Son says, "This is what I created you for, and I made it possible."

The Holy Spirit says, "Won't you just say yes?"

God loves you and so do I.

relies upon on how the verse is interpreted. on condition that between the responsibilities of the Holy Spirit is convicting others of their sin ... helping them to ascertain their favor for Christ ... , rejection of that has been stated as "blaspheming". It does make somewhat sense. If one rejects the message of the Holy Spirit, they could see no favor for Christ and, for this reason, be lost. the different interpretation speaks of attributing some pastime of God's to devil. i'm somewhat extra sketchy on that one. i trust there replaced into some situation in which the Jewish leaders attributed an action of Christ's to Him truly being an agent of devil.

If you blaspheme the Holy Spirit, He withdraws from you and no longer draws you to Christ. It is through Him that you find Christ. If you blaspheme Jesus or God Himself, it is not the same.

Yet another little gem to be added to the list of things that simply don't make any sense in the Christian religion.
I swear, you've got to lose half of your brain function just to join that cult!
