Death is nothing but a transition period, perhaps the opposite to been in the material world, it time of rest, and of contemplations of our last, prior, past life, experience.
a recount of what was right and what was wrong, in an effort to achieved a new purposes in life to become once more and continue the advance into perfect our self, through the pursue of God Desires for man to achieved and accomplish, the perfect Human development.
Also a time to experience, the many rooms there are in our heavenly Father's House.
Dark, to our human perception, although not dark at all to our senses? although a clear mental lighting Illuminations from the Lord-God, pure essences, emanating, of his own positive, eternal and everlasting, divine Energy.

its only a stage of tranferring from temporary life to a permanent one.
it depends on how u where like , if it is gonna be dark and smelly, scary and filled with ghosts,
or is it gonna be light and wide and u will see heaven when ur still in grave. and ull have angels that will entertain u until eternity time has come.
some people are so looking forwards to meet god almighty, that they dont even think about the grave, we have so much promises, it makes it sound nice. if u were really good, u will smell of heavenly perume when ur dead, and this is actually witnessed, but only rarely.
brotherm its up to u to decide how u wanna make this stage, u can confort ur self, or u can care urself forever. be good be happy

I see death and the natural cycle of life. But as for what happens, I have theories of the soul resting in a higher plane of existence before returning to earth. I don't think a soul is a one shot deal. The Gods are more generous then that imo

It's a passage, the final one. We have been dying to things our whole lives and coming alive to something new. Death is the final passage where we drop our mortal bodies and look forward in hope of inheriting our true human nature - that is, if you know the Promise and can claim it as your own.

The Bible likens death to sleep or unconcsiouness. For example:
Ps. 146:3, 4: "Do not put YOUR trust in nobles,
Nor in the son of earthling man, to whom no salvation belongs. His spirit goes out, he goes back to his ground;
In that day his thoughts do perish."
Eccl. 9:5, 6: "5Â For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten. 6Â Also, their love and their hate and their jealousy have already perished, and they have no portion anymore to time indefinite in anything that has to be done under the sun."
John 11:11-14: “‘Lazarus our friend has gone to rest, but I am journeying there to awaken him from sleep.’ . . . Jesus said to them outspokenly: ‘Lazarus has died.’”
When Stephen was murdered by a mob, we do not read that he went to heaven, but rather that he also “fell asleep”. (Acts 7:60)

Recycling.........all the molecules that I am composed of will break down and return to the earth to be reused. Since everything else that makes me who I am will be returning to where it came from I also have to believe that IF there is a soul (no proof) it too will return to where it came from.
Death is returning to the state of pre-birth.

I have been with dying ppl with my job. Death is the finalization of this life and the start of your eternal one. Its up to you as to where you spend it. For me, I am going to heaven to be with my Lord and all I know is what He has shared in the bible with us about it. There will be no more tears, streets of gold-sounds better than the other option.
The ppl I have seen pass on, they were christians and had alot of peace.
