What about Jesus' famous statement in the Bible, "Happy are those who have not seen yet still believe"? What you realize is that this statement creates the perfect cover for a scam. Let's say you are Jesus, you are a normal human being, you realize that you are going to die (everybody does) and you want to cover for this fact. Here is what you would say: "Happy are those who have not seen yet still believe." What you are saying is, "the way I am going to show you that I exist is by not showing that I exist." For every other object in the universe, the way that we know it exists is because the object provides evidence of its existence.

Someof the people that were there with Jesus still didn't believe.
Jesus knew that those of us who believe our Faith is strong although we don't see Him.

But what you don't realize is we believe because Jesus is in our hearts, He lives within us.

So in a way Faith does bring sight.

I can't make sense of your question - If you're a christian I'm sure you would understand why Jesus made that statement. Jesus appear to the disciples who was in hiding for fear of persecution, and he spoke these words to thomas. But if you read verse 31 - it says: These are written that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ , the Son of God and that believing ye might have life through his name. When Jesus said bless are those who have not seen and yet believe - Jesus is referring to those can't see him or can reach out and touch Him, but only believe by faith. Now, that some have repented of their sins - a change, a miraculous change took place and it's only by the power of Jesus Christ - though we can't see him - Jesus is very much alive - not a scam!

Or instead of that reasoning, perhaps Jesus is the Son of God and we require faith in Him to know Him. As for all the other things in the universe providing evidence, this would fall in with God being "above" that.

Faith is a very powerful thing. I believe without seeing Him but I know Hes there I feel His presence daily. Unlike Thomas who had to feel the nail holes in his hands to believe. Creation proves He exists and the way he answers prayers is amazing.
