Would you agree that asking inflammatory questions anonymously without allowing emails the R &S equivalent of being in the KKK? The KKK does what they do annoymously & undercover. Or am I going to far? What do you think?

I was thinking more of the anonymity & the cowardliness of it than of the violence--I don't mean to offend. Thank you all (most of you, that is) for your input.

Interesting question. Is hiding behind a computer the same as hiding under a sheet? I think some of it is its easier to be bolder when you aren't face to face with someone. And sometimes people ask out of real curiosity and are taken the wrong way. You can't detect intent in type. And I think some people want to cause trouble. Some people want to be right. Some people are just mean spirited people and some are fanatic. Add it all together and you get...well you get this. LOL

I believe that is a question of internet security more so than behaving in a manner similar to the KKK. If you read the news a while back, the US government as well as hiring companies tend to do background checks on people using myspace and facebook because people tend to express themselves fully over the internet.

Yes, you're going too far.
I don't share my email on here. Why would I? Anything you have to say to me, you can say to everybody...lol.
As for "inflammatory questions," I guess it depends on what you consider to be "inflammatory." Sure, a lot of "questions" get asked by holes who are just looking to troll. Welcome to the internet. The best policy is to ignore them. But you want to email them?
Also, is it "inflammatory" if I just happen to disagree with you, and ask or answer a question from a POV that differs from yours? I'm not saying you think so, but a lot of people seem to.

Why send an email when you can post your answer for the world to see?
In the case you're describing, the only reason to send an email is to send something nasty privately, rather than risk account deletion by doing so publicly.
The VAST majority of emails I get are from Christians that want to further proselytize upon something I've posted. Most of them are rather rude, not to mention I have to risk brain damage in order to decode some of the messages.

You are going way too far. I hardly would equate asking a question with the sort of violence that the KKK has instigated over the years. That's like equating a misbehaving child with a terrorist.

Ppl on R & S should be AWARE it is indexed by Google, so everything said is recorded on Cyber Space for all to SEE who is making an @ss or a fool of themselves. It's not hard to trace pseudo names, nor even lurkers who don't even post.
What's good about it is the revelation (uncovering and revealing) noted in Mt 10:26; Mk 4:22; Lk 12:2 : nothing hid or covered that won't be manifested, revealed, made known... publically for all to see. However any and all revelation is intended for awareness and understanding, not for accusation and condemnation. Selah X-ians.
If I were a foolish bewitched X-ian I'd stop MARK-ing myself a vessel fit for DESTRUCTION; For I hear the New F5 Law (worketh wrath) Harvestors cut a swath a mile wide; Good reason to Romans 16:17 "avoid" them who cause divisions and offences. Selah to Americans currently on Tornado watches. The D-evil(law) goeth to<=>fro seeking whom he may devour: obviously those MARK-ed X. See Matthew 12:37 notes by THY WORDS THOU art either justified or condemned; And Galatians 3:12 notes no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, which is "EVIDENT" from all the evidence.
The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

Anonymously posting on the internet is not equivalent to murdering people and burning their houses down because of race.

the problem that the people that do this have, is that they are so quickly noted as dispensable. they have no weight or impact because they are so marginalized. pay them no attention and they have no tools to use. silence them. their world must be sad enough to drive them to need that sort of vapid attention.
