i ask because this seems to be the case due to the amount of thumbs down and lack of thumbs up that christian answers get.

if so, why do you think that is?

(you can have a drink ONLY if you answer the question first)

Christians pray for the thumbs-up to magically appear.

Atheists realize they actually have to physically cause the action.

I would say there probably more atheists since in real life we are casted out as idiots. This is one of the few places we can gather and sort of get back at the religious. And yes it is completely childish to assume someone will care what we are talking about but frankly I don't give a damn. I answer probably about four questions a night and then go about my business. We are just tired of the horrible education some people have and terrified that they may pass it on to the next generation.

Keep in mind that a lot of 'believers' believe in something other than Christianity.

At any rate, there's no way to know who voted thumbs up or down. It's all assumptions.

Well, I haven't done a number crunch yet, and most likely won't, but I have to say that the numbers are probably slightly skewed towards there being more christian. Not all of them give thumbs up or down. I do. I make my vote count!

more atheists...atheists are scientifically critical thinkers...they have to see the thing for what it is and don't depend on the verbal traditions of the past, which are usually wrong.

I'm glad they are here, because they keep the overboard religion-ists on a even keel.

by the way Christians aren't the only ones that are right!!! that why i like this sight .

Some of the 'Christian' answers lately have been real howlers. I'm guessing that there's a large contingent of intelligent, educated Christians who are observing the fiasco and throwing in a few thumbs, even if they don't take the time to write themselves.

We need to hear from more of them.

For some reason a lot of Christians don't give thumbs up. As to more atheists it depends on the time of day.

Its close I think the Christians outnumber us Atheists as a whole but I think that because we answer so many questions and it's so easy to point us out that it seems as though there are more of us.

I'm a believer in Hinduism. I think that there are a disproportionate amount of Atheists on this section. But I think they are to be welcomed here. And I think there are probably more believers than non-believers, although I can understand why it may not seem that way sometimes!

Of my "contacts" friends only two or three I know are Christian. Most are atheist or agnostic. I think the scales tip towards atheist/agnostic, even if there are surges of Christians at night.
