What's really funny is the Christians today are just like the conservative Jews that had him crucified then.

Yes, Jesus said that it is the sick who need a doctor, and that He came to seek and save the lost. He gave us an example and told us to be in the world, but not of it. I have no idea how so many Christians miss Jesus' example and take the Pharisee road. Jesus didn't like the Pharisees much, he called them a brood of vipers. I don't get it. I guess Satan is doing well in making Christians ineffective, thus keeping them from showing others the way into the Kingdom.

Isn't it a riot how mocking fools don't ever do much if any research before they make their dogmatic pronouncements against Christians?
For your information - Many Christians come from the very backgrounds that you just mentioned. I myself was a mocker of God, foul-mouthed drunk, drug dealing hippie, God-hater, whoremonger, and much more. Amazingly enough - God delivered me from my spiritual blindness and ignorance and then sent me to reach out to the very people who were doing the things I used to do. Imagine that! You wouldn't think God would be that organized would you?
When you have something intelligent and informed to say you may gain an audience of intelligent and informed people who will appreciate what you say. The only audience you will get is the one you currently deserve - mockers and scorners just like you, and people who will pity you and pray for you just like
me. I feel privileged - My Saviour was mocked too!

"Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God". 2 Cor 5:17; Gal 2:20. A life born of the Spirit of God, will manifest itself by a show of the life and works of Christ. Those who claimed to be God's people in Jesus' time were His worst enemies, thus it will be before Christ comes the second time. Many profess godliness but show very little true piety, of this class the True Witness declares, "Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked", "So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth." Rev 3:17, 16. Far better would it be for them never to profess to be Christ's than to make an open shame of Him. "For the congregation of hypocrites [shall be] desolate, and fire shall consume the tabernacles of bribery." Job 15:34.

It depends on the demoniation and w hile I rant about Christians in frusteration sometimes, they really aren't such a bad group of people. Most TRUE Christian practice love and acceptance. They are trying to make the world a better place in ther own way. And that isn't really so bad. Some of them judge but EVERY faith has that. Its human nature.

Jesus came for the sinners - he didn't hate them, but wanted to help them find a better way. It's sad how many people who call themselves Christians fall into a category of "holier than thou" type people or are extremely judgemental. I wish there were more good representations of how Christians are supposed to act.

Christians are more painfully aware of their sin nature and wretchedness than most non Christians. You don't really know what you are talking about.
