my hair is naturally dirty blonde. and for years i highlighted it with blonde. so my hair was super blonde. but this past year i decided to be different and go with some dark brown low lights....the first week my hair looks great! but then it jsut starts to fade. and within a couple of weeks you cant even tell i paid big bucks to get those low lights. my hairdresser isnt really helping. she cant give me a good excuse for why its fading so much so fast. she says not to flat iron and not to use a certain kind of shampoo. but i have to flat iron everyday! and i quit using that kind of shampoo. so what will help my hair keep its color????

Your hair is most likely super-porous... it grabs color but then color molecules leave the hair easily. You need to condition your hair after shampooing with a rinse out conditioner and condition again with a leave-in. You need to condition it a lot!!

U must use a color-retaining shampoo or it will not last....
