witchvox.com is the best site on the net for Wiccans (and other Pagans). Read books by authors Scott Cunningham, Margot Adler, and Viviane Crowley. You can read Ray Buckland but he's a bit of an extremist so keep that in mind. Avoid anything by Ravenwolf because she seems to think she's in the tv show Charmed.

I like Paganspath.com for a website. They have a lot of unbiased information and a good book list. I also like Scott Cunningham. He has a very laid back approach. People swear by Raven Silverwolf, but I have never really gotten into her work, but to each thier own. Read read read is the best place to start. Its all about learning and asking questions. Good luck on your journey! Blessed Be!

raymond buckland is a great author for beginner wiccans.
scott cunningham is pretty good too. i like silver ravenwolf. but she might be a little more for a beginner. go to your local book store and go to the new age section. anything by llwelyn books is a good place to start. but look through them before you buy, lots of them are repetitive
witchvox.com is a good website to meet other wiccans in your area or find group activities to participate in. like sabbat gatherings or what ever.

"Drawing Down the Moon" Margot Adler
"Origins of Modern Witchcraft" Moura
"The Law Enforcement Guide to Wicca" Kerr Cuhulain-(sounds corny but it's actually a nice resource)
"Pagans and the Law" Eilers
www.witchvox.com
... and so on. Kerr Cuhulain is a wonderful author and any books by him I recommend, especially for the LGBT community.

Why would you select a religion to convert to if you do not first know what it is about? I suggest studying many religions before deciding which one (if any) you want to convert to.
