Seventh Day Adventist do acknowledge Sat. as the Sabbath, so maybe you might want to check that out. I think most Christians are used to Sabbath being on Sunday, might as well leave it alone.

No. Saturday was the day of rest, Sabbath, for the Israelites. God compared it to his creating 6 days, then resting on the seventh when explaining the Sabbath. Also, there were travel, food prep, and other restrictions.
The Christian day of worship is Sunday because that's when we are told to come together (Acts 20:7) and take the Lord's Supper. It is not said to be a day of rest by God and we don't have the Jewish Sabbath restrictions.
The truth is, the Sabbath was a covenant between the Israelites and God.
Deut 5:1-5 Ten Commandments for Israelites; non-Jews not under it.
Gal 3:23But before faith came, we were kept under guard by the law, kept for the faith which would afterward be revealed. 24Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25But after faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor.
Old Law
Jesus says Psalms are Law John 10:34, John 15:25
Rom 7:7 covet, 10 commandments, called law
The Laws of Moses and the Levitical Laws are one in the same (Ezra 7:6,12).The terms Laws of Moses and the Book of the Law were terms that were used interchangeably (Nehemiah 8:1,8; Luke 2:22-23), because God gave the Laws of Moses (Ezra 7:6), and Moses gave the Law of God (2 Chronicles 34:14).
Christ removed the first to establish His Covenant (Hebrews 10:9-10).
Read Heb 8 first.
We are under the new covenant, not under the old.
Heb 8 says there would be no need to have a new if the old were perfect
Heb 8:7 the new makes the old obselete
Heb 8:13 the death of the testator puts the new in
force.
Heb 9:16-22
In many ways the new covenant goes further (spirit, not letter). We are not to commit murder, but even
hating is a sin also. Another big difference is we can be forgiven and have the slate wiped clean by Jesus blood, which was not possible under the old. Under the
old, people had to keep all of the law perfectly or be guilty of the whole law. Their sins were forgiven by animal sacrifice, but still remembered. The new is by far a better deal.
If you're following the ten still, then you can't change them at all. The Israelites weren't allowed to.

After Jesus rose from the dead, Sunday became the most important day in the week.
Matt. 28:1; Mark 16:2,9; John 20:1,19- the Gospel writers purposely reveal Jesus' resurrection and appearances were on Sunday.
2 Thess. 2:15 says we are to hold fast to apostolic tradition, whether it is oral or written. The 2,000 year-old tradition of the Church is that the apostles changed the Sabbath day of worship from Saturday to Sunday.
In Rev 1:10 - John specifically points out that he witnesses the heavenly Eucharistic liturgy on Sunday, the Lord's day, the new day of rest in Christ.
This is why we worship on Sunday and set is aside as the day of rest. The Saturday Sabbath is a Jewish tradition that passed away with the coming of Christ.

The Saturday Sabbath was specifically for Israel. We worship on (as John called it ) The Lord's Day,that is the first day of the week,Sunday. Why? Because #1 we are not under the law.#2 Jesus rose on Sunday morning.#3 When Jesus died ,He took all those rules and regulations(see Collosians chapter 2 ) and nailed them to the cross. They were the shadow and He was the substance of thast shadow. Now we are not to be judged ,by what we eat, drink or what day we observe the Sabbath.Because Jesus finished His work ,we rest in His finished work and "Sabbath" every day.

The resting day you are talking of applied to Jews and prosylites. Not to Gentiles.
We worship on the Lord's day because this was when he rose from the dead. He was in the grave still on the Sabboth.
Why would I want to follow a law that the Jews could not even keep. And why would I want to follow a religion which is inferrior to that of Christiananity.
Everyday to be considered holy to us. Besides a Christian is to rest in the Lord, not on some particular day for ceromonial reasons.

If you only believe the Old Testament then yes. But the New Testament says that we are to come together on the first day of the week which is Sundays, the Lord's day.

I don't see that the Bible said to rest. It said to keep it Holy. The scripture you refer to is old testament and while the "law" of God still exists, it's more about following the nature of the law.
The nature is to honor God in worship on 1 day. namely the 7th day. I go to church on Saturday night myself. On Sunday I spend it with my wife. I believe this honors God as she is His daughter.
I think if you want to understand what God wants from you in worship, you should pray. Many people worship in different ways. I try to worship Him with my lifestyle, not some rules published by translations of our Bible.

Look in the New Testament and you will find that the Sabbath was changed to the day Christ was Resurrected. It was changed by the leaders of the Church.

It was created for man. To rest. What does it matter what day we choose, as long as we keep it holy like He asked? God rested on the seventh day.
