My mind will simply not turn off. It will not quit thinking until I'm dead tired. My current mini-obsession often keeps me up.... Calligraphy, painting, prime numbers, ambigrams, Y/A, etc.
The question of why I can't be fully dedicated to belief in God and afterlife in some form, or fully dedicated to an atheistic world view also captivates my mind.
Being somewhat of an agnostic/gnostic/christian is not by choice. I'd be more comfortable fully dedicated to either side, but I cant get there. So here I sit straddling the fence crossing back and forth. Unfortunately when you straddle the fence you often tear your britches.

Hmm... I could be funny and say something silly, but I think I'll give you a serious answer. (and will no doubt get thumps down.)
I wonder why I am not an Atheist.
I think to myself I don't have any evidence or proof to back up what I believe, which goes against my idea that if you believe something you ought to have something to back it up. I wonder why I hold on to a religion, somehow I think it's the notion I don't like the idea of never again seeing people I loved who have died. I do have seriously doubts about the existence of any afterlife.

Wondering who designed your ("cheesehead") avatar...I have always liked it. I have a few aquantences in Holland that I met on missionary trip to Russia years ago...and I seem to remember the moniker "Cas Cup" or something like that..reffering to Hollanders being cheeseheads....they were a great group of guys and gals and I have very fond memories of them.....There, now I have got myself all teary eyed and nostalgic..

nothing, i live on a farm, the minute my head touches the pillow im out like a light bulb..if thers a question its "when will my goats have babies?"
god doesnt concern my happy life!
im happy as happy can get, so i dont ask questions, i sleep, and i dream good dreams (unless their bad ones) and i go "i dont wanna get up" in the earl early mornings lol
