Some sound logic being applied here.
Of course you completely ignore the impact Lenin, Stalin, Pol Pot, Kim family, to name a few, have had on mankind.
Is your ignorance chosen?

I make a distinction between religion (the social practice of a faith) and spirituality (the personal, internal practice of that same faith).
As a Wiccan, I relate to the Gods directly as Their priestess. My answer to your question is yes: given such a benefit, I would walk away from my religion in the interest of the vastly greater good. My relationship with my Gods, however, would never change and does not require the outward forms in order to be sustained.

Maintaining beliefs and maintaining the religion are two separate things.
As a Muslim, I rarely have contact with other Muslims religiously. I practise at home, privately, and don't do any harm to anyone.

particular i think of each faith grew to become into organic on the time of that's beginning yet via time all the human beings who incredibly knew the be conscious of (God or prophet) died forwarding suggestions and awareness to next era, this forwarding handed off for years and message is manipulated, so believing in something blindly is silly act and root of all issues. all of us comprehend faith because of fact we've existence, so existence is greater significant than some faith and that's some manipulated message.

Since your question is unrealistic the answers would of necessity have to be unrealistic. If giving up your car would help everyone live together in peace would everyone give up their car? How about their house? How about their job? How about their money? I can get as absurd as you did!

good point.
seems like people have completely missed your point. i am willing to entertain it.
certainly, i don't think this is a realistic situation, but if it was, i wouldn't have to "completely" give up my beliefs. in my beliefs, it says to treat the earth and everything on it with respect, so by giving up my religion, to save the world, i would still be honouring my religion to some degree.

I'm Atheist, so I wouldn't have to do anything but watch the fanatics insist on hanging on because the bible tells them so.
