Why is it o.k. for an atheist to ask such a question? If a Christian were to ask something referring to atheists being ignorant and mentally incapable we are labeled as intolerant?

When the world wakes up and realizes the difference between religion and spirituality.
That is, when religion can be tempered by spiritual knowledge. And spiritual knowledge would no longer be "selfish" (or dishonest) for some.
So that religion as a mental disorder will be diagnosed as such when religious behaviors are "outside the norm"...

Surely you know what MLK did for our country as it was recent but Wilberforce started an abolitionist movement in England which lead to making the slave trade illegal. He did it for the Love of God.

Actually, that is the furthest thing from the truth. Science will even tell you that as human beings our brains are constantly searching for a "being/entity" to rely on. A type of mental dependant. (Do you really think that is accidental?) Yes, there are many intelligent people who feel that there is no possibility of a god. However, at the same time a truely intelligent individual will understand that the world was not an accidental creation. My I.Q. is 136; which classifies me as a genius. I know, not just believe that there is a God. The one and only High God who sent His son to do for us all. I pray that you come to know this before it is too late. God Bless.

How can anyone know a hell & a heaven exists and choose hell? How could God do everything he could to save man and man chooses to be lost anyway?

anyways (ignore the above) to what i was gonna say in the first place.
it never will, because its somthing that is all around the world, and in order for them to be "happy" they must believe that what they believe in is bigger than life itself, and if anybody else thinks other wise, than they believe that that person can go strait to hell, so in order to keep a somewhat peacfull lifestyle, government put it on the "high" standards.(meaning its a top thing in this world)
