please provide info re medical effectivity of parameria barbata or parameria laevigata, scientific study/explanation on why and how it works, etc. someone previously was kind enough to refer me to a site; though the site did give info on the plant, explanation was not enough, particularly on medical study of why it is effective. prompt reply will be very much appreciated. thank you.

I referred you a site and your right, there was no specific details. I am not well informed of its medical study as well but it is said that its chemical components are physiologically inert. I am not quite sure but I heard it is already available in its commercial form by a respectable pharmaceutical company.
