do you know that by believing in heaven, it doesn't change the fact that it's not real?

I agree with you!!!
Only it's not the heaven you're thinking of. It's the Heaven of the one "True"(tm) God named "Reskodi". Reskodi's policy on getting into heaven is pretty clear- no proselytising on the internet. That's it, the only rule. Sorry buddy, looks like you're out.
Oh, and since the one "True"(tm) God said it, that settles it.
Also, I don't have to prove anything. I expect you to believe it. Period. If you've never heard of the one "True(tm) God, Reskodi, that doesn't change the fact that you will be spending an eternity in a lake of melted cheese (correct translation).

That's very true. And believing that there is no hell doesn't change that either. And it's really too bad that for so many people they won't find out until it's too late to change their minds. It's so strange that people will believe any little thing that is printed or put out on the web but won't believe in the Bible which has more documentation than any other book in the world. We are told that there will be many hard hearts in the end times, it's very sad to see how true that is. God Bless.

Wow the amount of "good christians" smugly threatening people with hell is really rather repugnant.
You folks are actually happy to accept that YOUR "god" wants to punish people for all eternity. To torture them forever. To make them suffer for all time and then some more. And all because they had the absolute nerve to not accept an implausible story without any evidence.
What disgusting sadists you are. I apparently have far more compassion than you and your evil monster of a god since I wouldn't wish that on anyone let alone someone who wasn't convinced I existed (although there's a damn sight more evidence for that than your "god").

Actually, let's try reality:
Did you know that by believing in heaven, it doesn't change the likelihood that it is religious baloney?
Can you prove an afterlife? Especially one led by a humanoid male who punishes philosophical non-believers with fire? For eternity? That sounds kind of silly, don't you think?

at a funeral of an atheist, there will be one believer- the atheist in the casket will suddenly believe, because he will be standing before God answering this question? Why should I let you into my heaven?

And conveniently, God agrees with you and your pastor!
I'll tell you this--when it comes to, say, other countries, we can see them on maps. We can meet people who lived there. We can see their money and handicrafts. We can see videos about them. Shoot, we're even seeing rocks from the moon and pictures taken on Mars! If we can get that kind of evidence about Heaven and Hell, it would be much easier to believe.

One could say the same thing about Global Warming or the Origin of Species.
Don't get me wrong. The two things I mention are very real. They are two tangible issues teh right insists on not believing in.
