Hi I went to have my hair done this morning and the shampoo and conditoner they used is brilliant and left my hair very shiny and in really good condition.
Do all salons use the same make or is it different and what is it ?
Any information you can give me will be great
Thanks

Hi, usually if you are going to a salon they usually are using the same shampoo and conditioner that they sell so that you can maintain the look at home. If you ask your stylist what she recommends for you to use at home she should be happy to help. Believe me, no stylist wants to see a beautiful head of hair leave the salon only to meet out and about town somewhere to find you with unhappy hair. We always want you to look your best!

Not all salons use the same products. Feel free to ask what products they use. You can purchase them from a salon. Some products are now sold at drug stores & department stores. Paul Mitchell, etc.

From my Avatar you will realise that I have lovely long glossy dark hair. My salon is an Aveda salon and I have always used these products at home. They are also almost entirely natural ingrediants so no nasty chemicals getting in to your hair and the water system.

All salons use different brands of products. You should just call up the salon and ask. I'm sure they'd be happy to help. Some great salon brands are Redken and Nexxus.

it really depends on the salon...there are so many products available that it certainly varies from one salon to the next...when i worked at a salon in london, we used mainly charles worthington & tigi products, but those weren`t the only ones...just ask the salon what products they used on your hair, probably they will tell u & u might be able to buy it from a beauty supply store, or even from the salon...

I have heard from a good source they simply use the cheap stuff by refilling the expensive containers.
