If so, is this the same as saying that thinking is limited?

Obviously.

And since you posted this in the R&S section, yes, it's true that spirituality is "trans-rational," not to be apprehended by an instrument of such low calibre as the human intellect.

That's NOT to say that we ought then to make it a cardinal point of religion to accept notorious lies as facts, as the "Christians" do. Spiritiual experience transcends the laws of rational thought; but to assert that (e.g.) the universe is 6,000 years old because the Bible suggests as much when taken "literally" is simply imbecile.

In the long run, no. We will continue build upon what we learn for as long as we exist. If we exist long enough, we will be indistinguishable from gods ourselves.

On an individual basis, yes. Some much more than others, to put it politely.

Yes... we are completely limited... Our reason and rationale is based on OUR knowledge. If you claim to be the smartest person on the planet, then you might have an advantage...

Yes, humans only have a certain capacity for understanding. We will never know everything. Past rational thought lies speculation.

It's limited by education, experience, and circumstance. Which is why we need to talk to each other to get a fuller picture.
