The fact that Jesus appeared to women first gives more credibility to Christianity. During that time, a woman's testimony was considered less valid than a man's. That Jesus chose them (an unlikely eyewitness) to deliver the news, adds a lot of credibility.
Were the Gospel accounts false, a man would have delivered the news, so that people would take them at their word. We see that when they told the apostles, they thought they were deluded. (Mark 16:11, Luke 24:11)

There was quite a bit that happened after that. If she wasn't a part of the story, there would still have been his other appearances... the upper room, the road to Emmaeus, and the others. I would say that JESUS is the voice of Christianity, followed by Paul since he wrote 2/3 of the New Testament.

No...remember, the disciples did not see Jesus at the cave. He appeared to them later...so whether Mary Magdalene had told the disciples about what she witnessed or not, the disciples all still would have seen the risen God.
The voice of Christianity is Jesus, plain and simple.

Since she is said to have been married to Jesus, she may have had a personal reason for claiming that he rose.

She was a chosen vessel......the one who saw the risen Christ first.
Interesting question
Of course, they didn't believe her at first..........probably thought she was nuts. But then they knew the truth......and so do we.
Praise God
