I think it's unlikely but I wanted your thoughts. It's probably just altering perception.

If you still imagine your perceptions are reality, you haven't learned the most valuable lesson such drugs can teach you.

You can also learn this lesson the old-fashioned way, through diligent study and serious contemplation. Start with some ancient Greek philosophy and learn the meaning of the word "solipsism." This philosophical term describes the default human mental point of view, which I often think of as "level-one" in the game of becoming human. Level-two is the realization that level-one is a hopelessly inadequate description of reality. That's about as far as psychedelic drugs can take you, to the realization that what you think of as real actually isn't.

Don't get me wrong. Psychedelic drugs are fun and can offer tremendous insights into the human psyche. Just don't confuse that with reality, which exists outside your mind.

Well LSD which i have done does open parts of your brain you never use.. The proof is that it gives you awsome insight into yourself, your soul and other ppl. Who knows its possible. I have felt things on acid that where really deep and had revelations about alot of things. And for the guy who told you too get off drugs you did not answer his question. Drugs have been being used for thousands of years even before Christ in religious ceremonies. The Indians believe that Shrooms and peyote allow you too enter the spirit world and i can see why they thought that.

I've had a couple of, uumm, experiences in my earlier years. I understood after these adventures what hippies meant when saying 'heavy'. I have no idea if its a perception thing or not, but my lingering suspicion is that it is possible.

I think there is a mystical affect as well.

Also, 'wow' and 'duuude' and 'man' have new meaning.

It has been theorized that moldy bread was served at the Last Supper. One of the key components in LSD, a strong hallucinogen, is an element contained within mold. These people believe that that ingredient caused people in attendance to see "miracles".

I don't necessarily believe that, but I think it's interesting.

you never know. I don't think acid or what not would do it, but the more natural drugs...ie...shrooms or pot could very well have been put here for that reson. I like the way you think.
