I think definitely kung fu. Powerful because it emphasizes usage of every part of your body. Intelligent because its very versatile. It doesn't just focus on striking or kicking or throws or joint locks, but on everything.

There is no such thing as BEST martial art. They all have their plus and minus aspects. That is a question that for every 100 people asked you'd get about 100 diff. answers. As far as professional? Not really sure what that would mean. Any "business" martial arts dojo would be "professional" or they wouldn't stay in business long.

People often ask what the best martial art is, but I have never seen someone asking for the most "professional" art, perhaps you could expand on what you mean by this.....

Gung Fu. It has to be good considering the great Bruce Lee studied this martial art.

I would say karate and kung-fu are the most useful. I know of small guys who can really kick-***.
I don't understand what you mean by 'professional'.

Well, in the UFC, the best tend to be in Ju Jitsu or wrestling. Everything else (in the real world) is basically gymnastics
