This response is for Christians only. So please, no smart remarks from the non-christians. (Can you at least TRY?) Princess, (and others) since God is Love, & Christ is God, try reading 1Corinthians13 (below) while substituting the word "Christ" for the word "Love". (paraphrased below) for a "new" perspective........."If I speak woth the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have CHRIST, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have the gift of prophecy and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have CHRIST, I am nothing. And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I deliver my body to be burned, but do not have CHRIST, it profits me nothing. CHRIST is patient, CHRIST is kind, and is not jealous; CHRIST does not brag and is not arrogant, He does not act unbecomingly; He does not seek His own, He is not provoked, and does not take into account a wrong suffered. He does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; He bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. CHRIST never fails; but if there are gifts of prophecy, they will be done away; if there are tongues they will cease; if there is knowledge, it will be done away. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part; But when the PERFECT comes, the partial will be done away. When I was a child, I used to speak as a child, think as a child, reason as a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things. For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I shall know fully just as I also have been fully known. But now abide Faith, Hope, Christ, these three; but the greatest of these is CHRIST...........This always uplifts me. Hope it does the same for you..........theBerean

It is an inspiring notion but one which is doomed to failure as too many religions have no room for tolerance within their own ranks much less enough tolerance for the religions outside their own. I will however say, that a truce should be struck as we have such a short time on this little circle we call home that we should spend it doing things to help each other out rather than knocking eeach other down in a race to prove who is right and who is wrong. That question is one only God himself can answer.

One of the most uplifting questions anybody can consider is the one Jesus posed: "Who do you say I am?" Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." Jesus replied, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven."
Focus on the person of Christ and acknowledge just who he really is, and God's blessing will be poured out! Of course, the trouble on this site is that this is also such a divisive issue! But peace comes to those who bend their knees at Jesus' name and crown him Lord of all.

Where absolute truth is believed to be possessed, no compromise can exist. As long as Christians believe that their religion is the only possible true one, or that religion, specifically their religion, is a necessary component of life for everyone on earth, there can be no truce. You refuse to allow there to be.
Give up your claims to absolute knowledge and perhaps you can live alongside the rest of the people in the world.

I agree. We should have an answer at all times, ready to give an account of the hope that is within us. I also suggest you try what I have done today- pray online with those that need it. They need to see God's power at work in their lives. I prayed for a guy that was stressed out.
Show the love of Jesus- they will know we are Christians by our love.

Its all about LOVE, true love, perfect love, when we can truly love each other, who ever, whatever, faith, no faith, then we come close to the solution for this world. just imagine what life would be like if we all put others needs before our own? What Jesus taught may annoy some, be ridiculed by others, totally ignored by most, but applied to life, it is the solution.

I doubt it. Too many Christians are too wrapped up in their doubts about their own salvation, they simply MUST argue and fuss about this or that point of doctrine, and "You're going to hell!" if you don't believe this, or if you do believe that.
And, of course, ALL non-LDS Christians gotta gang up on the godless Mormon!

Hmm. Might be interesting to see what happens -- especially if we boycott Atheistic sniping and baiting while we're at it.
