He thinks that if he closes his eyes to the havoc that is happening over there and the deaths that keep happening that when he opens his eyes that all of it will go away. We need leadership that will adapt to the changes of society and war, not simply demand we "stay the course" that has killed 3,200 men & women and has gotten us no where.

Because he is listening to the troops on the ground who are doing the fighting. Unlike some people, he hasn't sold his soul to CNN.

THE TRUTH... We have killed more terrorists than you would care to forget. Saddam Hussein is no longer a threat to us or anyone else. And the WMD's, yeah we have found them. Sorry they aren't shiny rockets with nuclear war heads like you all wanted us to find, but the artillary shells, weapons caches, biological and chemical laboratories that we have unearthed could have collectively killed hundreds of millions of people.

We signed up knowing that we would be making a sacrafice so that YOU can sit home and be free. Shut your spoiled little soft coward hippy pie holes, go back to playing dungeons and dragons and let us do our job.

Its amazing how Harry Reid and Hillary Clinton are now strategic military experts.

Funny how the ratio of kills between our troops and the Islamic attackers is never mentioned.

He thinks it's getting better because he DOES do math.

You only count one part of the equation, like someone who goes, "3+18=...3! We're losing!"

It's rather silly.

So James R, are you saying 9 or 10 U.S. soldiers didn't get blown up today? So I guess CNN are at Fort Bragg filming a made up memeber of the 82nd Airborne as a fake right?

Boy, you are a Bushbot.

It's been said that he's in a state of denial. More like a state of insanity. There's no sane way to explain his refusal to accept facts amid an ever-increasing death toll of American and Iraqi casualties and worldwide indictment of his administration's botched invasion of a sovereign nation that did nothing to the United States.

Bush cannot get a timeline when he and his buddies will get the oil wealth loot from Iraq, so he doesn't want the Troops to withdraw with a timeline. Like he says Americans don't like failures. Well he sure is one American who doesn't want himself and his buddies to fail getting their shares of the loot!

I've seen candids of him holding a children's book upside down. If you turn some of those numbers around it could look like less... I don't know if those pictures with him and the book or not but they were quite humorous. He just needs to learn that you can't change an area that has hundreds of years of history between them and expect to make everything a-okay with democracy.

He has surrounded himself with sychophants and has no real idea how things are going. Never having been in a shooting conflict, Dubya lives and breathes whatever fantasy Rove, Snow, Cheney and the rest of his handlers feed him.
Poor moron.

go to Go ogle and type in "Miserable failure" and see who pops up!!! George and his friends aren't through making all the money they can off this war so they don't want things to change, dragging on is just great with them!

Yes,it is true.We are almost winning.
You can't expect soldiers to not die in a war..
People have to make some sacrifice too.
Why are you complaining about this? When those soldiers offered their service to our country to fight for our country..
