when you are young and lyfe never issued you your silver platter------it is real hard to listen to the advise of those who 'have it'-----------then you burn your candles at both ends to make it-------------someone moves the ends----------then one day you break down-----------and all that stuff you struggled to get and thought was important is now meaningless ------------so there ya go.-----------gosh------isn't this the same thing you said?????? LOL

Good question. But thats how life goes in this stressful era. Its the advice you get everywhere. Save for a better retirement. Who doesnt NEED money? we dont know how many more years we can work so, while we still have the energy, try as hard as possible. Of course, we know of the consequences but given the choice, do you want to have a smaller income to avoid health problems? You, know, even if you have a smaller income, life would be tough and you still need to spend money to get your health back. Its better to slot it now but remember to have a balance lifestyle. Work hard and Play hard. Pamper yourself once in a while. I also know of people who earned alot and paid back hard because they are so obsessed with saving that they wont even bear to spend a few dollars more for a better meal or better clothes. Now thats the result. Those that you are talking about.

Sometimes you don't know what will ruin your health. Now you know about trans fats, would you eat French fries? Other times, you don't believe the adults. How many with lung cancer now wish they didn't smoke? For the rest, well, they're 20 yrs wiser!

Because we all have to experiment I guess, but thankfully, we learn from past experiences and mistakes made along the way. Lets just be glad that we eventually come to our senses and try to turn things around. Weve all done things we wish we had never done, but thats all part of lifes experiences. We must live and learn.
