07/07/2007 is not only a Saturday, but its supposed to be the luckiest day of the year and superstition says that the people who get married on that day are going to have a prosperous union or some bull like that. Lets just hope so, the divorce rate is high enough as it is. To me, anyone who got married on 06/06/2006 might as well have gotten married on Friday the 13th!

06/06/06 was a Tuesday. It probably wasn't as convienent for most. Plus 666 would scare any one who is superstitious.
08/08/08 will be a Friday, 10/10/10 will be a Sunday, and 11/11/11 will be a Friday. They should all have lots of people wanting those date.
09/09/09 will be a Wednesday and 12/12/12 will be a Monday. They too will probably get little takers.

sI think the 7's is more popular due to the gambling trend going on right now plus it falls on a Saturday which is also convent!! My photographer told me her staff of 6 people was booked out almost 2 years in advance for 7/7/07 but 6/6/06 wasn't a big deal and no one has called yet for 8/8/08 yet!

It was a Tuesday. Not a big day for weddings. But 8/8/08 will be popular.

Nope - I got married 8/8/98 at 8pm though - someone told me that 8 is lucky in Chinese culture & that if you turn an 8 sideways it's infinity - just like a marriage is supposed to be. (and yes, we're still married:)
