People of other nations have never seen the U.S. as liberators. World news, that not brought to you by the US media has always showed the war against the Iraqi people for nothing more than what it is, an occupation for oil by an invading US military at the orders of an insane president who wants nothing but oil, from Iraq. Only the misguided 40% of brainwashed Americans are still buying the Liberate Iraq story, and because the U.S. Media is so corrupt and would sell their souls for a buck, has this Liberator bull been allowed to survive. Bush, Corporate America, and the U.S. Media are all guilty of treason, murder, fraud, war crimes and felony after felony! Heaven help them on judgment day.

The US makes up 5% of the world population. Coincidentally, about 5% of the world population views the US as liberators in Iraq. 95% of the world population (about 6 billion people) view the US as occupiers.

To the first question, Yes! The new government and the law abiding Iraqis that now have rights and freedoms they had never experienced under the reign of Saddam probably consider us as liberators. Radical militant Islamic terrorists and nations such as Iran and Syria which support and encourage terrorist acts would probably consider us as occupiers. Kind of a matter of perspective. Have they changed their minds? Of course they have. You never heard Iran spouting occupier rhetoric until they were sure that Saddam's reign was over and Iraq no longer posed a threat to them. Funny, huh!

occupiers, because since the Americans came to Iraq there is daily killings from both sides, which is sad. So I don't think Americans are liberators.

To an overwhelming degree as occupiers. And yes many have changed their minds. Those would be the over-brainwashed ones who now also see the american army as an occupation army.

I think they see us as both and I think that there is legitimacy to some arguments for each one, but ultimately I think the people of the world saw years ago what more and more Americans are finally seeing: that whatever the issues are and whatever past violence has taken place, war and more violence are not the solution but only prolong the problem and increase human misery, suffering, and violent death.
