First... we are dudes looking slightly stupid is what we do.

Second you should really get the advise and opinion from an attractive female you trust. Your Mom, sister, or a cousin as long as you think they are attractive and they have a level of taste you trust.

Last, look into a hair stylest. They may tell you that longer hair ...curly or not, does not suit you, or it does work because of your facial features. But no matter what you do...remember number 1

Will you are allowed to grow it at what ever length you want . I would say dont let it grow below the neck. Theres a guy at my school that has curly long hair and thats why i gave you the advice i did. And he looks HOT!!! and you probably will to!!!

hey. my cousin has curly hair and has grown it down to his lower neck. I think this looks really cool and he looks really good and good-looking. This is the length I would recommend. But I would also recommen having it short (not tooo short) and having it sort of in a shorter messy look. Trust- this look is well sexy too! hope I have been of help. P.S if you opt for the longer hairstyle that I suggested DO NOT and I repeat DONOT grow a mustache or a beard!!!!!

Allowed?! Ask long enough and you will find someone who hates and someone who loves any hairstyle you choose, so trying to find something that the outside world will approve of is a pointless task - the feedback you get will depend entirely on who you ask, not on some nonexistant, objective standard of stupid-looking hair.

Grow it out as long as _you_ think looks good, and then wear it with confidence. That will be enough to convince most other people that it looks good, too. The few that disagree? Screw 'em.

I have a cousin who is 35 years of age. He has hair to his hips, and is a pure Irish red head. His hair is curly and it looks great on him. Any time he is home from Germany the women flock at his feet and are always commenting on and playing with his hair and he has a girlfriend. If you look good with it and like it yourself, well then what the hell. Go for it.

When it looks like a mullet, a rough 80s "Weird-Al" mullet, then that's way too long. If you straightened it to look more like Grunge 90s, then you can stop at the shoulder, else it grow to be hair-metal 80s. Pony-tails are out unless you're a guitar teacher. Corn-rolls or dreds are ok if you participate in certain recreational activities. Hope this helps.

please don't fall into the 'just out of high school and my mom can't make me cut my hair anymore' look. I see that constantly on my campus with freshman. Its the easiest way to identify a freshman boy! Either keep it short, or get it shaped while its growing out. And style it! Nothing looks sillier then boys your age walking around with big poofy afro's. I may be the minority here, but to me, it just looks like people do it because mom can't make you cut it anymore. It looks really silly. Long hair is fine, just do something with it while its growing out!

I would have to say keep it clipped short, but if you love the long hair trend, go for the Heath Ledger look which is longer and layered. Anything between temple and jaw length will look messy. I guess to really tell you anything though, I would have to see the texture and wave of your hair.

(lol) To tell you the truth, curly hair looks great to me I mean, Josh Groban, Gerard Butler on movie "Timeline", a really sweet guy of whom I don't know his name--- I'm not saying anything about age-- hair is hair, if it still looks good to you and the only people giving you bad comments about it (I'm not saying they are) guys saying you look like an over grown sheep dog --ignore them--they're the same guys who say its sissy for a guy to cook and yet he's the one who gets a great girlfriend who loves how he cooks. I like guys with curly hair--it's not stupid for you to have them, just keep them clean, naturally colored, and and in a nice cut, and you're good to go. Hope it works out for you, God Bless, Cora V. P.S. Sheepdogs are awesome! (LOL)

My boyfriend used to have shoulder length curly hair and he looked hella sexy. Especially when he pulled it back into a pony tail. He looked like a bad @$$! Try it!
