The tingle lotions improve blood flow to your skin which helps your skin to get darker faster. They are best used when you have a base tan. If you have sensitive or fair skin you need to be VERY careful when using them. Swedish Beauty has a "ranking" system; they are ranked from T10 - T40 (10 being the lowest). Since you have never used one I would suggest using the lowest possible tingle. It will turn your skin RED, and depending on your skin, it can be painful. If you miss a spot, your skin will not be as dark as other places.

I am fair skinned and I don't know the proper terminology. I have used them as I don't get any color if I don't. They do tingle and your skin will turn red to start with where you apply it. You need to be careful where you put it as it can be blotchy and if you use it on your face be careful by your lips, eyes and nose. It would actually be better in my experience to use it at home before you go tan. Then you can also wash your hands. It feels like you skin has been stimulated and you are supposed to get better results from tanning.

Yes they do work. I am so light that my tan is everyone elses normal color. My husband gets so dark it isn't even funny. He uses it now and then to even certain areas that don't get as dark. I did get some color from using the cream and tanning. The results for me weren't worth the cost. However my husband gets alot of benefits from it. Hope this helps.

The best that I personally found was Swedish Beauty. FYI they are very expensive at the shops. You can get the same lotions for quite cheaper on ebay or you can go to a beauty supply store in your area that allows the public and you can get it cheaper too.

the tingle lotions contain ingredients that increase your blood circulation, which in turn causes u to tan much darker...but don`t use it if u have very sensitive skin, or don`t have a bit of a base tan, otherwise u are likely to get a nasty burn!!! the tingle lotions are the only kind i use any more, because the other ones to me are just not worth it, as i don`t get as dark...if u are in doubt as to whether u can use them yourself, just try putting a small bit on as a patch test to see your skin`s reaction, because sometimes people break out in a rash or can`t tolerate the heating sensation caused by the lotion...they make your skin very hot, it will feel like u are on fire!!! but the tingle lotions are definitely worth it...they are also good for outdoor tanning as well, i use them in place of regular outside tanning lotions...

stay away! pretty much these "tinglers" make it feels as though someone has lit your skin on fire! i tried one once and will never use it again. my skin is far from sensitive and after using this it turned bright red(not because it was burned but because it was irritated). i consider the tanning bed to be very relaxing and tinglers just ruin the experience. GOOD LUCK!

I hate them. They turn your skin bright red and you feel like you're on fire for hours after you get out of the tanning bed. I really just like my regular tanning lotion with bronzer in it.
