It probably will help you lose weight, however, it is equally likely that you won't have the energy to go to the gym as much as that if that's all you're eating.

I am also dieting with soup but I work 14 hours a day as a support worker with old people with Alzheimers! So I get my fair share of exercise and stress and also simply going without meals because residents need so much help. i buy packet soups from Infinity Foods in Brighton (they have a website). I also eat fruit and a snack bar. I have half an hour for lunch. I eat a banana, a soup, a fruit bar, then it is back to work. XX.

stop focusing on losing "weight" the focus should be on changing the body composition or reducing body fat.
if the body does not have enough nutrients in the diet it will not release fat stores for use as energy. soup, salad, sandwich, etc. the body could care less what form foods come in. it's the nutrients in the item that determine which would be more beneficial for fat loss. if the soup is not hearty enough it may cause overeating and if it doesn't provide enough nutrients it can be less effective for fat loss. lower calorie doesn't neccessarily mean better

it will help and if its only for the short term than should be ok. Maybe you should just eat a bit more protein though especially if you work out alot you need more to re fuel your muscles, maybe have soup and some fish or boiled eggs too.

Soup is great- Avoid low cal ones - you will still be hungry- or cream of ones- you will not lose weight. Try the Baxters healthy options or Heinz with plenty of veg for good health.

You might drop to a size 6 and then drop from no energy left! Eat a variety of fresh veggies with a boiled egg one meal a day!
