Walk up to someone you have your eye on.
Ask, "excuse me, do you have a pen I could borrow real quick?"
If they have perceived you openly, they will give you one.
You then ask "I'm sorry, do you have a sheet of paper too? It can be tiny or whatever."
If they give you both you say:
"Thanks, now can I get your number?" and write it on the paper using the pen she gave you.

I like it. It shows you have a sense of humor and humor is very sexy. I would give you the digits. But the suggestion above to write yours down instead, that would definitely turn me on because it would have been unexpected.

*Blah...it's all the same to me.
~I'd be giving you a finger pointing to the exit, and say "I'm leaving now, can I get my pen back.?"
*Then on the way out I would take the pen and paper and walk up to another girl, and give them to her...and tell her that:
"Hey do you see that guy sitting over there? Well he is too shy to come and get your number, so he asked me to do it, but I am sort of in a rush...and I need to leave so here is the pen and paper." "He's really hoping that you will go talk to him, he hasn't had the best night."
~~So I'd leave and send another girl over to the rescue.

Sorry to disappoint by the time you got to the paper bit she may have had a funny turn? try asking for both, women like it up front when you ask a question not dithering.I think?

that's cute. might work if you're in school or at work, but what if you are in the club/bar? Would a chick have a sheet of paper in her pocketbook, and if she does you can bet it's there for a reason and maybe she just picked YOU up !!!

That's cute. Pickup lines nowadays pretty much only work if they make a girl think you're funny. So that one has a chance of working. Using a pickup line is kind of like saying "I know this is lame, but its so lame that it might make you smile so here it is."

Thats pretty cool.Ive never heard of that.If someone did that to me i would give them my number cause i thought its sweet that they go through all that to get my number instead of coming uo to me like they want to have sex with me right there an then,like those other stupid come on lines.

it's beeen done and it didn't work , so sorry to say, the onl y thing tha guy succeeded in getting from her was a slap in the face and several dirty looks, along with his cred, utterly destroyed, try just going to her and telling her how you feel, if she's not in it she just ain't, leave the drama fo yo mama!
