I do have a lot of toys for her she is a spoiled little thing. That is what I have been trying to do with her is distract her with a toy when she does this. It just hurts but i know she doesn't realize that. Thanks for your answers!

That is instinctual prey behavior (prey aggression), that a cat has. Usually it's a playful nip, it doesn't really hurt, but it's surprising when it happens.
Our cat will be 2 yrs. old in fall and still does it. Often our cat will do that when he's under the desk and then nips at my feet, hoping I'll come and run after him to play.

I'd suggest getting him a playmate that's showing signs of being playful - bc that's your kitty's personality. He will divert that prey chasing/behavior to the new kitty instead of you. Always use toys with him, not your hands for play. Don't let others use their hands to play with your kitty, since the cat can't figure out if the hands coming toward him are for a pet, a wrestle or play.
Some cats want/need lots of stimulation and activity. I still have to hide my ankles and feet at times! You can continue with a squirt of the spray bottle or wear some socks with some bitter apple sprayed on them and maybe that'll turn him off. Cats are fussy about odors. I also read once where someone used Vick's VapoRub around their ankles bc the cat hated the odor. (That may also work at night if you're are sleeping and the cat thinks in the semi-darkness that your feet/toes resemble prey).
Noise: You could find something that emits a shrill noise and carry it around constantly for a while and if he runs toward you and bites, then immediately use the noisemaker. Some people use a few pennies in a can to startle the cat.

you ought to maintain your kitten in a kennel yet i do no longer think of she'll like that. you ought to tuck your blanket below your ft so as that they do no longer look like ft or pull your ft up a sprint. in case you're particularly desperate you ought to place your head the place your ft was once and cover your ft under a pillow. :P you ought to continually only make helpful your elder cat is on your room and then close your kitten out. If all else fails and she or he nevertheless is going after your ft, only positioned on slippers to mattress so which you don't get harm and attempt and picture of ways extraordinary and attractive she is...Haha. a minimum of it will bypass at last. good success!

She will grow out of it. You need to play with her more so that she doesn't feel neglected. She's asking for attention from you. As far as the cuts and scratches I pour a little alcohol on the scratches immediately and they don't turn so bright red.
Keep up with the water bottle. That is one of the most effective "cat-punishment" devices out there.

My cannonball does this and he has not outgrown it. He is 1 1/2 years old. When he comes at me I just pick him up and tell him no and I put him in his bed. he will stay there for a while, before he tries again. Although, he will not let me wear flip-flops. He will try to take them off every time. I cannot stop this. He is very stubborn also.

She will grow out of it, right now she's just a baby.
We have four cats ranging in age from 2 up to 8 years, they all did that when they were younger.
They still do it every once in a great while, but it decreased greatly once they weren't babies.

You need to spend a couple of minutes playing with her. Then she will get tired and not bother you any more. Eventually she will out grow this as she gets older and playing gets less and less.

cats sure do have a strange sense of humor, don't they? when mine were kittens, i couldn't walk out of my room with shorts on or i'd have one on each leg. they do get over it... but i'm afriad that it's just something kittens do.

My younger sister's cat used to do that to my mom when it was younger. I don't know if it still does that or not. Did you try picking up your kitten and playing with it for a few minutes?
