Let me get this straight, you're afraid if you tell him something, you may be embarrassed? But if you write it down so that he can show all of his friends and they can show all of their friends, more people knowing will cause you less embarrassment?

Look at it like this: If you tell him and you get embarrassed, you can deny you ever said anything. If you write it down, he'll have a hardcopy to prove every embarrassing thing you wanted to tell him. It can be hard to go face to face with someone, but you're better off doing that then having anything in writing.
