I read Atheistic arguments on the internet and I believe what they're saying. I have never read the Bible, and no nothing about it, but I know it is false because from what I have heard, it sounds like a mythbook. The idea of there being a God is so crazy. And there is no "proof" of there being a Jesus besides the Bible, which is a fablebook. I will never believe the works of a Bronze Age historian. I think historians are even lying about there being an Alexander the Great. Alexander the Great never existed. I don't trust anything coming from historians back then. They all were crazy. The scholars who say Jesus existed are ignorant and crazy. He never existed. He was created as a human form of the god Horus, who was born on December 25, was known as the Son of God, died as a Savior, and was buried and ressurected in 3 days. There is no God or Jesus. The air and the fact I'm breathing doesn't prove God exists. I'm sorry. We got here becuase of universal collisions and bacteria. Not God.

First of all, *drink*.

Secondly, sarcasm doesn't become anybody.

It sounds to me like you haven't REALLY read what the atheists are saying. You've selected what you wanted them to be saying, so that you could try to make a point.

I don't know of atheists who disclaim historical events, including that Jesus Christ was a person who lived on this planet. The stretch is believing that just because the bible says it's so, that it's so. After all, lots of holy books say that they contain "the answer." They also contain some gruesome stories that teach some kind of a moral - some that are good, and others that are so terrible that they cause wars because they clearly state that "my belief is right," and "your belief is wrong."

It's much easier and certainly more comforting to just believe what others tell you to believe. And if that gets you through the night, groovy. On the other hand, believing what others tell you to believe can get you in to serious trouble. Just ask someone who has spent some time in a concentration camp.

Good luck in your search to find the answer, my friend. And if you feel like you've already found it, more power to ya!

OK, I don't know about Alexander the Great not existing. There's quite a bit of evidence in favor of him. And it may very well be that Jesus did exist, but the things attributed to him are certainly made up.

I don't believe in anything supernatural, so why would I believe in God, or the divinity of Jesus? There's no evidence for any of these sort of things.

I recommend reading The Bible. Doing so will confirm your lack of belief.

certainly. each Christian that has ever walked the face of the Earth replaced into an Atheist at one time. effortlessly, an Atheist is somebody who would not believe in any deities. in view that no person has ever been born with an innate concept in a deity, we are all born Atheists. Later in life, Christian father and mom indoctrinate the youngster into Christianity. subsequently, an Atheist turns right into a Christian.

ahhhhh, that must be that new thing called sarcasm... i like how you make the comparison of not believing in mythological beings who possess supernatural powers with not believing in people who had normal human powers. i don't recall ever reading about alexander the great walking on water, healing the dead, turning water into wine, and raising from the dead. for some reason his life seems a little more believable if you ask me.

You seem to be an ardent skeptic, and unreasonably so. Even if you were not presented with sufficient proof that God exists, that does not negate the possibility. Especially considering the magnitude of the issue, before firmly making the claim that God doesn't exist, you should be able to support your claim with firm evidence. Otherwise, lack of evidence should only indicate to you that you have no reasonable basis for a claim either way. I personally have considered the atheist's arguments and find them to be flaud.

I'm afraid you have a rather caricatured notion of what religion is, and - in particular - what Christians believe. If all you know about Christianity comes from this site, that is understandable! However, I would suggest that you try to find out a little bit more about what moderate religious people of any faith believe before you commit yourself to any single belief-system. From some of the rather sweeping claims you make, it seems to me that you run the risk of being a fundamentalist atheist, which is every bit as bad as being a religious extremist.

i am not an atheist or a christian, but i have my beliefs and will not pressure them on anyone. you yourself is the only one who can decide which path to follow. but before you decide it is wise to "research" before you chose to believe in nothing at all. And if you have never read the bible how can you call it a "false book"? from what it sounds like, you are following others beliefs, not your own, and taking everything from hearsay. I myself do not believe the words in the bible, but at least i read it in its entirety before coming to my own opinion. if I'm wrong i will know when i die and meet my own personal judgment day. but i also studied Buddhism, Judaism, catholic (which is way different from christian) and there are several different versions of Christianity. i took in several different religions before i found what i believe. and i actually believe a little in each, not much in each, and i don't consider myself religious by any means. But don't say they "turned you into an atheist" only YOU can choose that path. and if you have to ask if your going the right way, obviously something in your heart is telling you your wrong.

While I believe you have the right idea, I also believe it is important to study something before making a judgment on it. You should study Christianity before speaking out against it. You will come to the same conclusion, but we should make educated choices.

Here's a test for you - try thinking for yourself.
There's something they didn't teach you at the church you've never been to.
