It's very difficult because it is so hard to understand why that person cannot love you the way you love them. YOu think about them all the time and you just want them to let you love them. But, guess what? That's love wasted. I found that if that person cannot find it in them to love me back, then they are surely not the person for me. You have to think so much of yourself that you realize that the person who does fall in love with you is smart and is getting the best package there is! It does not mean that something is wrong with that other person for not loving you, it just means that your love is not compatible with who they are. Try to repair your heart by exercising (it's a healer for so many different things), prayer (it's a healer for all things), and new adventures (it's a healer for this particular thing). God bless and enjoy that feeling of love one last time and move on.

You might not ever get over it, but you should get more used to it (if that makes sense). If you see them a lot or are friends with them this may take longer. You also run the risk of being taken advantage of. Talk to your friends, let them kow what's happening so they can give you their perspective.
You may find someone else to love, which will help. And it may be the case that you'll always have a soft spot for this person, even when you're with someone else.

you know what i don't think you do "get over it". getting over something is bullshit. you just slowly come to terms with it and with yourself. your hurt right now, and that's ok. be hurt. be mad. it will fade with time. maybe not next week or next month but one day you will wake up and think, "wow, i feel a lot better". and then after that maybe you will wake up a few weeks later up and be like, "wow, i am so happy i am not with that person." it happens to everyone- no matter how beautiful, smart, or funny you are love is two sided and it is impossible to make* someone love you. i know this may sound corny but i learned it the hard way, try and love yourself. surround yourself with the people who love who really appreciate you for all the things special about YOU, and enjoy it. life is full of ups and downs- and sometimes you have to go down to truly feel the rush of coming up.

By realizing that it wasn't true love in the first place. True love is a mutual thing between two people. Infatuation is formed and exhibited by only one. Infatuation is strictly a hormonal issue and will fade if you let it.

Just give yourself a moment. Think why you waste your time thinking about the person you love while that person doesn't even care for you. You'll get over it.
Or time will heal everything. And so will a new partner.!

About 7 years ago this was me. I remained the man's friend. I was happy just being able to talk to him and see him. Although my feelings were strong, they did begin to fade. It takes time. It was about a year to get over him.

it s hard, but dont go back to them...try to move on and give it a lot of time...no matter what everyone else says, dont find someone else...at least not til u are over that person because getting some other guy into it will only make it worse!!!
