This one made me laugh!!! I don't have any kids that do that, but when I was younger I slept over my friend's house, and that night, her sister slept in the room with us. I was on the floor next to the bed her sister was sleeping on, and in the middle of the night I got up to run for the bathroom, looked over and saw her sister staring at me!! Scared the **** out of me!! She was sound asleep snoring, so I woke my friend up and she said that her sister has been doing that since she was a baby. Some people do it, it is fine, I would only worry she might get something in her eye.... Good luck!

No problems with rather spiced meals right here, different than that approximately 0.5 of my kiddos like it, and 0.5 do not. We in many situations start off solids sometime between 6-365 days (whilst the youngster shows *actual* indications of readiness like loss of the tongue-thrust reflex, and cut back interior the gag reflex), commencing out on some plainer, bland meals to rule out hypersensitive reactions, and progressing presently to ingesting a hundred% table meals, spices secure. "Dune" picked up on something significant, nonetheless-- if your baby already has hypersensitive reactions, you will certainly want to be careful approximately gazing for reactions whilst giving new meals, and in all probability heading off uncomplicated allergens altogether (nuts, shellfish, chocolate, eggs, wheat, dairy, and particularly some others...). yet i does not in my opinion supply the ginger returned as yet another pronounced, in case you're particularly particular that the ginger is what brought about the reaction. perhaps sidestep it for some months, and then attempt out an quite small volume to work out if there is yet another reaction. As for the nurse, i'm uncertain why s/he concept it this type of terrible factor to have the youngster ingesting meals with spices and such. ??? As you pronounced and comprehend properly, they're particularly healthful and if the youngster likes them there is not any reason to not supply them. HTH!

My daughter used to sleep with both eyes half open all the time. It was kind of weird. She is seven now and she doesn't do it as much as before. Its finally going away! I wouldn't worry about it.

People who sleep with their eyes open could have a medical issue that explains this. Some neurological disorders cause this, and it can also be a sign of muscular weakness in the face. I have worked witha couple of toddlers who did this and they were always referred for further evaluations to check on the possible cause of it. Bring this up to your child's pediatrcian.

I have twin girls and leelee my youngest, she sleeps with one eye open. I was really concerned as well and asked their doctor, he said it isnt something I should worry about unless she complains about things like, my head hurts or looks like her eyes are straining. Also he said it is minor but can be a warning of a stigmatism in the eye.
I would ask her doctor about just so you can have peace of mind!

I grew up with a cousin that did it. They never did anything to make it stop. He's 27 now, and every now and then it does it. As long as his eyes don't dry out, I don't think it's a major problem. Yes, it is very creepy!
