I am not a vegetarian or vegan nor do I eat meat every day. I also fast at least once a month.
My body needs the protein meats give. I know a few vegans and at least two of them look like they need something else, in other words, they don't look healthy. The others seem to get just what they need from being vegan.
I could live on vegetables, I love them, but my body won't let me.

I prefer meat because, when all you eat is veggies you have to take all kinds of vitamins to get the supplements you would normally get from meat. But if you eat all meat then you will have to take a lot less vitamins to to make up the small amount of stuff left out by flowers that you don't eat

I would love to be a vegan, but alas, I am a carnivore!
I know it is murder to take the life of anything with a FACE, and if I had to 'do it' myself, I absolutely would be a vegan!
There will probably come a time when meat gets so expensive and so contaminated with drugs given to the animals that we will not WANT to eat meat.
Too bad the government doesn't use some of their power to insure the humane slaughter of the animals that we use for our tables, clothes, shoes and such.

I never cared for what you call normal food..
Also I'm much healtier being a vegetarian! I don't
get sick as often as I did when I was a meat eater!
from my experience I say meat is bad for you!
Vegetarian food is best.. vegetables are great!
parsnips boiled is soya sauce with water have a near sausage taste, while carrots boiled in soya sauce with water have a near weiner taste. Sliced beets boiled in soya sauce.. near bologna taste!
Pumpkin and cereal with soya sauce mixed all together make a good veggie burger or fake meat ball or fake meat loaf..
I use the word near cause taste isn't same as the real thing.. for me the fake ones taste better!

I'm a carnivore and proud of it. I have a vegan sister and I have respect for her but I need beef. I just crave steak and a good steak, medium rare. Besides with my other food allergies if I took out meat I would have nothing left to eat.
My allergies: No Caffine (chocolate, cokes, coffee or teas), no Dairy (no cheese, ice cream or milk), No MSG (no tv dinners, pre processed food, chips or chinese), and no Nitrates (hot dogs, ham, bacon or sausage)
I'm already on a healthy, low fat, all natural diet wheather I want to be on one or not. Take away my meat and I have nothing left.

I prefer the vegetarian lifestyle. Since making the switch, I sleep better, lost weight, and I look fabulous.
I will miss the grilled turkey burgers but with morningstar products, the veggie burgers do the trick.

I like my meals to have a fair amount or meat, without them, there is no 'substance', along with some fair amount of vegetables, terming myself as a 'meatarian', more meat than vegetables.
I have tried having vegetarian meals but somehow, i seem to get hungry faster after having one.
