How long are you safely able to marinate shrimp?

I would not marinate them long especially if ur marinade has lemon .. the acid from the lemon starts to cook shrimp. I would say bout 20 mns or so

Marinate in refrigerator for 1 hour, turning bag occasionally. Do not marinate longer.

I'd say 1/2 hour to 45 minutes in the fridge tops. Cook immediately. You can't refreeze.
