It's not wrong at all, you're both adults. I have dated this age difference and more. What I've found however, is that it's not sustainable over time because there are vast differences in our priorities in life. I, being older am more settled and have lost the desire to "run and rip" Older guys are more accomplished and more confident and could have a lot to teach a younger partner. If you just want a fun fling, go for it, but in my opinion you shouldn't expect much more than that.

Is it wrong? lets see, a 44yrs old man is looking for one of 2 things, a show case wife or an adveture. with that age difference he is problably the alfa person. if you want to be and willing to do everything he wants, well my dear you will be ok. But just think what woul happen when your energy takes the best of him, and he only wants to stay home? In my case I run away she was to energetic for me. Just think He is 57 and you are 40, you will be at the prime of your life and he? well you get the point. not to mention if there is children.

I think that once you're both past college age, it's your business. While there may be some challenges identified in your potential relationship by some, the bottom line is, "Do the two of you see each other as compatible?"
I've seen bigger age differences work before. The age difference in itself should not be any reason to say its wrong.

Legally no it is not wrong because the youngest person is of age.
Demi Moore is 44 and Ashton Kutcher is 29. People don't seem to have a huge problem with that and they have been married since 2005.

Its legal and I dont find it gross at all. I have a friend who is dating someone with about the same age difference. My opinion is I could never do it, but that doesnt make it wrong or gross at all for you to date him. Have fun and age IS just a number in this case...

If they love each other then that is nothing to say but to wish them luck. If she likes that man, better than someone her age, and she is not looking for a father figure in him, I suppose that is ok.
But I'm not sure that I would tell you the same thing if my daughter was in this situation.

17 years is a bit much... my boyfriend is 3 1/2 years older than me and i get $hi+ for it (im 18 hes 21) .... my best friend is 5 years younger than her man and people think shes a $lu+ and she sooooo is not (shes 18 and hes 23)... my parents are 7 years apart and nobody says anything (they are 52 and 45) i think the older you get the less important age becomes.... and it really dosent matter if people dont like it, if your happy who cares what other people think

I don't think its wrong if they are happy. At 27 she should be mature enough to know what she wants and if she doesn't have an issue with his age who is to be the judge? If he is able to make her happy and is willing to do those things then leave them alone.

There's nothing wrong with their age gap. As long as both are in love, so why bother.
