VEET WAX STRIPS (for face)
I used to use hair removal cream but it stopped working so well. I've been waxing for about 6 years and its the best way without electrolysis, it stays away for a long time and only grows back a bit at a time and it is thinner and less noticeable. You can buy them in boots xx

You might be better doing some research on electrolysis and laser hair removal, as these are the two options which I think get rid of hair permanently. If the hair is too dark, maybe try bleaching it (make sure you use a bleaching kit from a chemist which is specifically for facial bleaching!). Other than that, you could try waxing, but I'm not sure about how that hair grows back.
Hope this helps!

bleach - once u remove hairs from your top lip they take on a life of their own. they will always need plucking and look oh so terrible when you cant be bothered.
i wouldnt remove i know too many people who have because they thought they HAD a problem, a year later they realise the hairs actually look darker and they are dead straight which makes them visible!
if you have the finance, get it professionaly removed through electrolysis or and other new ways

my solution to this is super simple and pain free and cheap!!!
buy some nair sensitive skin and apply this to your upper lip about ever other week. i designated sunday for this b/c i don't do much on sundays and so i'm home in case it gets a little red, which it never has, but in case it does, then i'm not out of the house with a pink lip!
so, every other sunday evening i apply a bit of nair to my top lip and that just takes care of it! no wax (ouch and $) and no electrolysis...plus, it's totally affordable and only takes less than 5 minutes!!
take care:)

Laser hair removal --this is one of the longest-lasting methods, and generally requires 3 to 4 or more treatment sessions. This hair removal treatment can be expensive and sometimes painful. Be sure to select a doctor or technician who is highly trained and knowledgeable.

Waxing is best but maybe go to beauty salon to have it done as you could give yourself a red moustache-like bruise.
Electrolysis is the permanent way to get shot of it but it takes a long time to complete the course and is expensive.

Probably laser removal. It's painful and costly, but eventually, it should get rid of the upper lip hair once and for all.

Hair does not "grow back worse".
"After you shave body hair, it may feel coarse or "stubbly" for a time as it grows out. During this phase, it may be more noticeable — and may appear darker or thicker. But it's not."
