I normally drink Gin & Vodka but recently I haven't been feeling as buzzed as before. Do I need to switch alchohol types?

It's like drugs like painkillers. The more you take your body builds up a tolerance and you have to take more to get a feeling and no pain.

Goldenar,
Alchohol in any form is still alchohol. There is no difference except for the proof. Some liquor is 80 proof and some is 100 proof etc. 100 proof is 50% alchohol, 80 proof is 40% alchohol, etc.

If the buzz isn't the same then you need to give your body a break. Changing the kind of booze you drink isn't going to make a diffrence in the kind of buzz you get. Go on the wagon for about a week and then go back to your favorite poisons.

I used to drink in my earlier years {yes, I'm that old--lol} but I haven't drank anything in 25 years.
When I did drink at a very early age, I became very addicted, which in turn caused my Tolerance to increase...so, NO, you don't get the same effect.

LOL @ switching alcohol-types!!
Drinking will get you nowhere except bad health.
