Did you mean the hole that is produced from the doughnut? Or the real hole in the center of the doughnut?
For the first, there's this urban legend that the leftover dough from puncturing the center of the doughnuts become munchkins--those little spherical doughnuts, sometimes with filling in the center.
If you meant the second, that's some philosophical question! It reminds me of the question that "Does a thing exist if no one is looking?"
Well, seeing that the hole is only made up of air, I probably won't swallow it. Better yet, I'll just fill the void with some jam or some other yummy filling! That way, there'll no longer be a hole in the middle. ;)
