Not true.
I have been interested in herbalism and aromatherapy for several years and have never heard of this. I have a large library of books on the subject and the only warning that I have come across with regards to lavender is that a very few people are sensitive to it, just like some people are sensitive to other products. This means a few people can't use it, but most can.
In fact, there are many baby products which use lavender, as its very soothing, and I don't think they would do that if there was a chance that it could make baby boys sterile.
Hope this puts your worries to rest.

***Breast developement in baby boys can be due to the mother's hormones passed on to the baby in utro and through the breast milk, and is not permanent, nor does it make a male sterile. If it did all mammals would die out.

I used Johnson&Johnson's Lavender Baby Body Wash on my son.

I've never heard of Lavender making a boy/man sterile. I think someone got their information wrong.

Cheers

i have not heard about it making boys sterile, but i have read a article where they have found proof that the lavender creates a copy of the female hormone on boys and the chance that the boys develop breast are high.
they have stop putting lavender on these boys and their breast stop growing.

how true it is i will never know but to be on the safe side i stopped rubbing lavender on my baby boy.

I don't know if it makes them sterile, but I wouldn't use scented products on any infant or toddler. They may have, or develop, allergies. And the scented stuff does not serve any logical purpose.

No. Do you really think they could market something like that? I,m not so sure you want a boy that smells like lavender though!

Whoa! That is news for me. I'm not sure if it makes them sterile, but it will most certainly soothe them.
