I always consider and make plans for all the options or scenarios that I can "work out".
I expect the very best of them and will be at peace with the worst, simply because, I put forth my best effort and "at that point" I made the best choice possible. That is how you live without regret.
In ten years, you can look back and still remain "at peace" because you "KNOW" that it was the best option you had with the information that you had, the abilities you had, and divine guidance as the source of action. The highest good was served and not selfish motivations.
That is Namaste! That is Peace.

It depends on the benefit and the existence of better choices.
For example, if I kick a wall, I could stub my toe. Nothing worse will probably happen. I can accept that, and kicking a wall would be something that I would not be against doing.
But there's no reason to do it, so I won't right now. That is not a choice I would make at this moment, because I can't see any benefit from doing so. There are better things for me to do than kicking a wall.

In other words, if there were better possible scenarios to choose from, would I take the worst? Only if I had been hit over the head with a hard object and lost all of my senses.

Isn't the worst possible scenario that which is left behind after all the better options are already exhausted. i don't think that anyone wants to willingly accept the worst, it happens to be what we're left with sometimes.

Yes! at least every now and then - if only to make you feel like your choice was an expression of freewill and not just another formality..

My choices are not determined by what benefits me. My choices are determined by what benefits my family, my friends, my colleagues and those whom I meet in equal measure. There are 3 conditions....
If my choice benefits me in the first instance then I rethink my choice because the choice is selfish.
If it hurts my family I rethink my choice because the choice is selfish.
If it hurts another then I rethink my choice because the choice is selfish.

It depends on the choice. Is it good for the person?Does the benefit out weigh the risk?
There are choices and there are choices....true?Life is a constant stream of choices.

Well, we don't learn anything by taking the easy way out of things and our strength comes from the hardships we have had to endure through our lives....Those who suffer the most will be rewarded the most...whether it be in this life or the afterlife...
