2 things. #1 Don't bother with the excedrin migraine. It's no different than the regular excedrin. Read the labels. #2 don't let a chiro anywhere near your neck. If they want to play with your lower back where there is no spinal cord that's ok. But if they don something wrong in your neck they could paralyze you. Got to real doctors.

Sounds like it could be a migraine. Try laying down in a cool, dark room with a cool cloth over your eyes. Take aspirin if you can tolerate it. Drink some coffee or other caffeinated drink. Excedrin Migraine has aspirin, caffeine, and tylenol in it. Sometimes works for me. There are some new migraine drugs on the market that work great. Ask your dr. And yes, you should see the neurologist and get the MRI. He may be the only one that can make a diagnosis of your problem.

Good luck to you.

As the others have stated your symptoms sound like migraine headaches. Chiropractors are specialists in head and neck problems. I recommend you see a chiropractor as soon as possible to start getting relief. Many times after the first treatment the pain goes away. I've enclosed a link where you can find a chiropractor in your area.

It sounds very much like a migraine, (they are hereditary) They feel like your head is going to blast off and light hurts. Also you feel like vomiting. MRI may look for tumors, or bleeding, get done as soon as possible and good luck, I will say prayer for you tonight.
