Yeah, it is fine as long as the bread isn't too thick or it will be frozen in the middle.

Of course you can toast frozen bread. If your toaster is of a modern variety it will have a frozen facility specifically for that. Otherwise put it on defrost, or just toast normally though that will take a little longer. It will not make you ill.

Interesting question.. I visited this page just to see what the answer is! Thank you! (Just to share what I know, I've tried frying frozen tofu.. it becomes really crunchy! Upon closer inspection, it's like hives have formed on the tofu. It tastes great, but I don't know its effects on health.) There's a book entitled "What Einstein told His Cook". It's quite expensive, but if you have the money, you can try searching it through one of the online bookstores and see if it's there.
Btw, my friend says french fries are made that way--they freeze potatoes at a certain temperature first, apparently to remove all the moisture.

of course you can. I toast mine in a toaster oven, so I stick in on top of the oven while it's heating to thaw the breat, then I toast it. However it's done, you won't get sick.

Yes, you have to wait a bit longer for it to go brown that's all. You won't get ill, so sorry but you have got to work.
Have a good day :)
