My girlfriend wants me to move in with her, but I already got a place of my own. I think she just wants us to share are money together. well anyways she has two kids 14 and 3 months old
I like the peace and quit at my house, I love her but the kid thing really gets to me after a while, maybe it's just because there not mine, I don't want to break up or anything, she keeps telling me she'll understand if I don't want to move in but I think she's just trying to make me feel guilty.

If you don't want to do it ~ DON"T DO IT!!!!! I don't blame you and I am a mother of 3. I love them dearly, but I know what you mean about the noise, etc. She probably also wants your help, especially with the baby (which you will never get any sleep at all at that age and for the next year or so). I'd keep my own place and tell her your not ready for kids on a permanent basis or something like that! Get a second job....think of something! Good Luck!!! You are not a bad person for feeling that way!

This smells doomed from the title of your question. Unless you plan on coming second in everything, I'd say you need to find a woman with no kids. Moms have a tendency to put their kids first, in every situation. If they're good moms, that is. There is no way that I'd ever be able to be in a relationship with someone who didn't like kids, they'd have to love my kids as well as me. And I'm not saying any of this to put you down for not liking kids, some people just don't. It doesn't take a psychic to see that there's a whole recipe for resentment, anger, arguments, jealousy, etc brewing here. You two adults think this is your problem to deal with, but in reality its the kids who get short changed. They've got a mom who is trying to convince a person who has no desire to get close with them to stay, and in essence is taking her time away from them. Its a no-win situation....the only thing you need to feel guilty about is if you're making her choose between you and kids on any level.....find someone else.

If you dont want to move in because of her kids then that means that u r not really going to accept them... therefore maybe being with her than isnt a really good thing. She is a mother and if u were ok with that before why is that going to stop you know from being with her.... I think that is just a sign for you that you wouldn't be ok with her.... I mean her kids arent going anywhere. You probably should do.... You should really think about what your true feelings are for her.

Are you in a serious relationship? Surely the next stage is for you to live together and, if you love her, you need to accept she's got kids. They come as a whole package, love her, love (or get on with at the VERY LEAST) her kids. If you want it to work you need to accept them all, not just her.

If you do not like kid's then why are you with this girl..The kid's aren't going to go anywhere. It sound's like you are wasting your time in this relationship. When you get involved in a relationship with someone that has kid's you either accept the kid's as your own or you should not get involved.Someone that has kid's comes as a package deal..

Well, if you continue w/her, the kids come along. It's a whole package. There's no way around it. Sorry, you love her, you gotta accept her kids. Your only option is to break up or learn to love them.

DON"T DO IT!! This can't possibly end well. I've seen it too many times. The boyfriend moves in, the teen resents him, the mom tries to make the boyfriend her kids' daddy--in the end, everybody hates everybody. If things are going well, just leave them the way they are.

It may be time to rethink your relationship. Her kids are going to be in her a life a long time. Are you wanting to live apart till they are grown? Is she?

should you really be with her if you don't like kids? it sounds like she wants more out of this relationship than you do. she's pushed it to the next level so you've got to act accordingly. are you being a little selfish?
