A Wiccan girl answered and said yes why not ... Jesus is a wonderful example etc etc

and yet Christians and yelling no you can't !

what is so wrong ?
isnt it better than a person is a Wiccan who respects and believes in Jesus in the eyes of Christians ... rather than someone who doesnt ?
cant someone from another religion have a love and respect for Jesus and his teachings ?
why does it have to be so black and white ?

I am a Wiccan and i think if you find something spiritual or a combination of things touch you in that way why not combine them? Its a basic human right to believe in what you wish and not be looked down upon for it. I believe personally that Wicca is far more feasible as a belief system and i practice it daily, this does not however mean i have something against Christians or their views, one of the main parts about being a Wiccan is to accept peoples beliefs and respect them even if you dont believe what they do, as long as they harm none i have no quams over other peoples religions. As a Wiccan i can still appreciate that some people from other faiths ie Jesus was a great man in his time, people the world over are still speaking his name a thousand years after his death. Whether some faiths like it or not - no one can prevent you thinking in your own mind what is right, wrong or maybe.

Good luck on your path

Religion starts to get irritating when you draw a line around what you believe and condemn everyone outside the line.

Wicca includes a number of different strands, some of which are frightening for Christians. Mainstream Christian denominations have a fixed set of beliefs which tend to exclude much of Wicca. This hasn't always been the case and Christianity has borrowed heavily from other religions. (It was Sol who was born in a stable and Easter is a pagan word).

DIY religion can lead you down all sorts of blind alleys. You would do better to find a religion that can tolerate your views and share their knowledge and beliefs. You could be a Wiccan who explored Christianity or a Christian who explores Wicca.

Christian Wicca is a secret to quite some. C.W. is an eclectic form of Christianity. people who can not evaluate the different teachings different than the Bible are very uncomfortable with this faith. Christian Wicca believes interior the trinity of God the father, God the mummy (Goddess), and the Son God Jesus. We additionally learn and prepare the concepts of the Bible, Kabbalah, Gnostic Gospels and Wiccan teachings. in all probability the main mandatory concept of C.W. is their inclusion of the Divine female. surely, there won't be able to be a beginning with no father AND a mom. We worship the mummy Goddess as having equivalent skill in creation. the mummy is modern in each factor of non secular teachings, even the Bible. (in spite of the shown fact which you may desire to seem complicated to locate it there.) additionally, there's a distinction between being Christo-pagan and being Christian Wiccan. earlier you bypass on the air with your rfile, seem up the two and have in mind the optimum alterations. I won't do it right here because of fact it is going to easily get too long. in simple terms comprehend that they are distinctive. i'm generally criticized via Christians and Wiccans alike. (greater so Christians. Wiccans tend to be greater open-minded.) i'm hoping I even have replied a number of your questions. good success with your radio rfile....advantages!

i used to be christian.
now I'm Wiccan.

Wicca's gods and goddesses aren't set in stone.
there are Wiccans who make up gods and goddesses.
it doesn't make them less of a Wiccan either.

the black and white part, well heres the problem.
christianity is strongly against magic.
i was doing a magic trick at my church and the priest said that if i keep doing that, the devil is going to take over my soul.

it sounds dumb. but thats what they said.
in Wicca you do magick. (with a K because its real not fake) christians usually lean toward the "lets not do magick because jesus wouldnt like it" side.

my friend angie(a wonderful wiccan whos life is still devoted to jesus) said " It doesnt matter who you worship, as long as you love who you are worshiping."

religion is a belief, if you believe in jesus and you practice wicca- whats wrong with that?

hopefully i helped you out.

It's not good because Christianity is set in stone. You can't worship Jehovah and Jesus in a Wiccan manner or believe in other Deities because it goes against the Bible. Wicca is alot like Buddhist principles where you can use it with other religions but with Christianity it is an all or nothing deal. I'm not bashing any religion, I'm just saying it is not appropriate to go against one to correlate the other.

Author Patricia Kennealy Morrison is a high Priestess in a Celtic Pagan tradition, considers herself a witch, does still go to a Christian church at times and is a member of Mensa. I think all is possible.

I don't belive there is such a thing as a Christian Wiccan. Christ wanted us to understand and use our spiritual abilities. But like the saying goes. The Road to Hell is paved with good intentions.
Wiccans belive in bending things to their will. I make my requests to our Creator, and let the Creators will be done.

Christianity and Wicca are diametrically opposed to one another. It is like trying to fit the same poles of two magnets together---it is an impossibility for the two to connect. Wicca is regarded as witchcraft and witchcraft is preached against in the Bible. The Bible clearly teaches that witches will not inherit the kingdom of God. To try to combine Wicca and Christianity is confusion. Jesus was not a Wiccan.

Wiccans worship a goddess. Some have a god/goddess dyad. This doesn't fit in with Christianity.

Trusting one master
M't:6:24: No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
M't:6:25: Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
M't:6:26: Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
M't:6:27: Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
M't:6:28: And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
M't:6:29: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
M't:6:30: Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
M't:6:31: Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
M't:6:32: (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
M't:6:33: But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
M't:6:34: Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
